BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRANO ISLAND. NEBRASKA. SECTION 1. Water Ma~n District No. 361 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, is hereby created for the laying of a twelve inch a~ a six inch water main' to serve ,Bishop Heights. Bishop Heights Second and rd Subdivisions. and Western Heights Subdivision. SECTION ~ The boundaries of such water main district shall be as follows: ~ ' I l2 ~ !/ \ N w, ' :5 @\:;, -., l~ l Beginning at the Northeast corner of Bishop Heights SUbdivisionJ thence westerly d distance of one thousand three hundred seven and six hundredths (l,307~06) feet to the Northwest corner of Bishop Heights Subdiv~slon. also being the Northwest corner vf the Sou~h_Qst Qu~rter of the Northwest Quarter lSW 1/4 NW 1/4} of Section Eleven {il}, Townshlp Eleven (11) North. Range Ten (10; West of the 6th P.M.; thence southerly along the West l~ne of said Section Eleven (11) a distance of one thousand seven hundred forty-siX and four-tenths 11.746.4) feet to the Southwest corner of Western He.lghts Subdivision; thence easterly a distcnce of one thousand three hundred eleven and eight-tenths {1.311.8} feet to the Southeast corner of said Western Heights Subdlv~slon: thence northerly a1009 ~he easterly line of the West Half of the West Half (W 1/2 W 1/2) of said Section Eleven (II) a distance of one tnousand seven hundred forty-nine and f~fty-seven hundredths (1,7(9.57) feet to the Northeast corner of the said Bishop Height~ Subdivis~on. the point of beg~nning. all as shown on the plat marked Exhibit -A- attached hereto and incorporated here~n by reference. SECTION 3. Said unprovemenl$ shall be made in accordance with plans and spec~flcotions prepared by the Eng~neer for the City who shall eatimate the cost thereof. and submit the s&~e to the City Counc~l. and upon approval of the samef bids for the construct~on of such water ma~n shall be taken and contr4cts entered into in the manner prov1ded by lAW. SECTION 4. The cost of construct1on of such 1mprove~nts shall be assessed ~gdinst he property with,in such dlstr.lct dbult~n9 upon t:he street wherein such water main has been so placed to the extent of bene! its to such property not to exceed the laying of a six- inch water ma10, by reason of such \mprov~ment. and a special tax shall be levied at one time to pay for such cost of construct~on as soon as can be ascertalned: and sucn special tax and assessments shall constitute a s.l.n,nng fund for the payment of any warrants or bonds for the purpose of paYl.r.g the cost of such wdt~r ma1.D in such d~str.l.ct: and such special assessments shall be pald and cQllected e~thftr 10 a fund to be designdted and known as the Sewer and Water Extension Fund for' Water Haln District No~ 361, or the Water Surplus fund.
