Nebraska: defining the boundaries of the d~strict; providing for the laying of a sanitary sewer main in said district. providing for plans and specifications and securing bids, providing for the assessment of special taxes for constructing such sewer and collection thereof; and providing for the effective date thereof. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA. SECTION 1. Sanitary Sewer District No. 459 is hereby created for the construction of a 24 inch or 21 inch diameter sanitary sewer main and appurtenances theret'o'. SECTION 2. The boundaries of such sanitary sewer district shall be- as follows: Beginning at a point on the South line of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (SW 1/4 SE 1/4) of Section Four (4), Township Eleven (11) North. Range Nine (9) West of the 6th P.M., said point being 334.87 feet West of the Southeast corner ,c said Southwest Quarter of the Southeast' Quarter (SW 1/4 SE 1/4) or Section r ~ (4); thence South a distance of 33.0 feet; -the-nce- West parallel to the $OutJl line of the Southwest Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (SW 1/4 SE 1/4), Section 4, to the northeasterly right-of~w~y-line of Burlington Northern Railroad: thence northwesterly along the northeasterly right-of-way f the Burlington Northern Railroad. said- right~of-way_ line-being on a large radius curve to the_ left, to the point of tangency; thence continuing northwesterly on the northerly right-of-way line of the Burlington Northern Railroad to the Southwest corner of Lot 7, Roberts subdivision; thence North on the West line of Lot 7. Roberts SUbdivision, a distance- ,of 198.9 feet; thence running northwesterly on the westerly line 'of Lot 7 'a distance of 90.5 feet; thence running North on the West line_ of Lot 7_a distance of 316.05 feet to the South right-of-way line of Roberts Street; thence continuing North on the northerly extension of the last described course to a point 264.0 feet North of the North right~of-way line of Roberts Street; thence runn~ng East parallel to the North right-of-way line of Roberts Street to the West line of the East Half of the Southwest Quarter (E 1/2 SW 114). Said improvement shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer for the City who shall estimate the cost thereof. and submit the s~~e to the City Council, and upon approval of the same, bids for the construction of such sanitary sewer shall be taken and contracts entered into in the manner provided by law.
