r 84 -,' 002778 r ORDINANCE NO. 7062 An ordinance creating Street Improvement District No. 1103, defining the boundaries of the district; providing for the improvement of a street within the district by paving, guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith; and providing the effective date of this ordinance. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND. NEBRASKA, SECTION 1. Street Improvement District No. 1103 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska. is hereby created. SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows: Beginning at the junction of the West line of Poplar Street and the North line of Seventh Street, said point also being the Southeast corner of Lot 8, VaitIe's Addition; thence proceeding southerly along an extension of the West line of PeDlar Street for a distance of 40 feet. thence deflecting left in an ~asterly direction 40 feet from and parallel to the North line of Seventh Street for a distance of 80 feet; thence deflecting left in a northerly direction along an extension of the East line of Poplar Street for a distance of 40 feet; thence deflecting right in an easterly direction along the North line of Seventh Street for a distance of 132 feet; thence deflecting left in a northerly direction 132 feet from and para~lel to the East line of Poplar Street for a distance of 280 feet; thence deflecting left in a westerly direction along the South line of Eighth Street for a distance of 132 feet; thence deflecting right in a northerly direction along an extension of the East line of Poplar Street for a distance of 40 feet; thence deflecting left in a westerly direction 40 feet from and parallel to the South line of Eighth Street for a distance of 80. feet_: thence deflecting left in a southerly direction along an extens~on of the West line of Poplar Street for a distance of 40 feet; thence deflecting right in a westerly direction along the South line of Eighth Street for a distance of 132 feet. thence deflecting left in a southerly direction 132 feet from and parallel to the West line' of Poplar Street for a distance of 148 feet; thence deflecting. left. and continuing in a southerly direction to a point on the Nort.h line" of Seventh Street which is 104 feet from the Southeast corner of -Lot,'8. Voitle's Addition: thence deflecting left in an easterly direction along the North line of Seventh Street for a distance of 104 feet- to the point of beginning, all as shown on the plat marked Exhibit .A~ attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. The improvements shall be made at public cost, but the cos~ -th~r~p~i excluding intersections, shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the_dist~;ct specially benefited thereby as provided by law.
