<br />(hereinafter usually referred to as "Homeowner", whether one or
<br />more) has entered into a certain written EMERGENCY HOME REPAIR
<br />AGREEMENT dated the ~ day of November ,..!.2~1, wi th the City
<br />of Grand Island, Nebraska, a municipal corporation (hereinafter
<br />usually referred to as "City"), acting through its Community
<br />Development Agency, for rehabilitation of a dwelling on premises
<br />owned by Homeowner which are hereinafter described, and for the
<br />granting by City to Homeowner of Federal funds in the amount Of
<br />One Thousand Three Hundred four and no/l00---------------------~------~~------
<br />to be applied in payment of the cost of such rehabilitation,

<br />WHEREAS, Homeowner in such AGREEMENT has, among other
<br />things, agreed (a) to repay such amount or, as the case may be, a
<br />part thereof to City in certain circumstances described in the
<br />AGREEMENT, and (b) to execute and deliver to City an instrument
<br />in recordable form granting to City a lien on the premises to
<br />secure such repayment,
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of such AGREEMENT with
<br />City, John Joseph & Shirlev Pascoe ,does hereby grant to CITY OF
<br />GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, A Municipal Corporation, its successors
<br />and assigns, a lien upon the following described real estate '.
<br />situated in Hall County, Nebraska: Lot 3, Block 1, in Glover's ~!
<br />
<br />Subdivision located in part of the Northeast Quarter (NE~), Section 21, Range
<br />11 North, Township Nine, West of the 6th Meridian in Hall County, Nebraska
<br />
<br />an addition to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska,
<br />according to the record plat thereof,
<br />
<br />to secure repayment to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, its
<br />successors and assigns, of the amount of the grant hereinabove
<br />c'eferred to or', as the case may be, a part thereof in accordance
<br />with the terms and conditions set forth in the EMERGENCY HOME
<br />REPAIR AGREEMENT to whicn reference is made hereinabove.
<br />
<br />The 1 i en herei n gr-anted shall run with the premises until
<br />such time as title to the property is tc'ansferred to another
<br />owner. At this time, the entire amount of the lien shall become
<br />due and payable.
