<br />In consideration of the extension of the time of payment of the original promissory
<br />note herei nafter descri bed, the unders i gned, Grand Island Post No. 53, The American
<br />Legion, Department of Nebraska , hereby covenant and agree to pay to the First
<br />National Bank of Grand Island, Grand Island, Nebraska, or order, the principal sum
<br />of Ei ht Eight Thousand and NO/100---------------------------------------------
<br />{$ 88,000.00 , together with interest thereon at Fourteen percent
<br />per annum from the date hereof, such sum to be payable on september!, 1984
<br />Interest shall be payable at maturity on September 7, IYtl4
<br />
<br />The original principal note in the amount of Eighty Eight Thousand and NO/100
<br />------------------------------------- ($ 8il,000.00 -;Was executed and
<br />delivered by the undersigned under the date of March 12, 1981- , to The First
<br />National Bank of Grand Island, Grand Island, Nebraska, and was- due and payable on
<br />the 8th day of September, 1981 , together wi th interest at 17.50
<br />percent per annum and secured by Real Estate Mortgage to the First National Bank
<br />of Gran,d ISlaQd", Grand Island, Nebraska, recorded as Doc. #81-001190 & Ext.#82-001477
<br />& Ext.#82-004bO in the Mortgage Records of ___~~~_, County,
<br />Nebraska

<br />The undersigned agrees to pay such extended balance of principal of EiQhty
<br />EiGht Thousand and NO/100---------------------- ($ 88,000.00 ), together
<br />with interest thereon at _ Fourteen percent per annum, such principal and
<br />interest to be payable in lawful money of the United States of America at The First
<br />National Bank of Grand Island, Grand Island, Nebraska.

<br />All of the covenants and agreerr.ents in such original note and the Real Estate Mortgage
<br />above descri bed, other than hereinbefore modifi ed, shall be and remai n unchanged and
<br />in full force and effect during such extended pet-iDe!. If default be made in payment
<br />of any principal sum, the entire principal sum with interest thereon, shall become
<br />immediately due and payable at the election of the le~al holder thereof.

<br />In further consideration of such extension of time of payment of such indebtedness,
<br />I hereby ratify and confirm such mortgage recorded as Doc. #81-001190 & Ext#82-00l477
<br />& Ext.#82-004130 in Real Estate Mortgage records' of Hall
<br />County, Nebraska , as the first mortgage lien upon the real property
<br />described therein, and the I"lhole of the title thereto as now owned by me. ~,
<br />
<br />The undersigned executes this Extension Agreement with reference to and on the
<br />faith and credit of thei r property, Ivhich they now own or have an interest in or,'
<br />hereafter may acquire; the express intension being to charge and to continue
<br />to charge any and all of such property \"lith the payment of the indebtedness, the.
<br />payment of which is herein extended.
