<br />I <br /> <br />REAL ESTATE LIEN <br /> <br />83- 005297 <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS Paulveda Roberts, (hereinafter usually referred to <br />as "Homeowner", whether one or more) has entered into a certain <br />wr i tt.en HOUSING REHABILITATION GRANT AGREEMENT dated the 24tndily <br />of March, 1983 with the City of Grand Island, Nebraska,<a <br />municipal corporation (hereinafter usually referred to as <br />"City"), acting through its Community Development Agency, for <br />rehabilitation of a dwelling on premises owned by Homeowner which <br />are hereinafter described, and for the granting by city to <br />Homeowner of Federal funds in the amount of Fourteen Thousand Six <br />Hundred Seventy-Five and 00/100 Dollars ($14,675.00) to be <br />applied in payment of the cost of such rehabilitation, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Homeowner in such AGREEMENT has, among other <br />things, agreed (a) to repay such amount or, as the case' may be, a <br />part thereof to City in certain circumstances described in the <br />AGREEMENT, and (b) to execute and deliver to City an instrument <br />in recordable form granting to City a lien on the premises to <br />secure such repayment, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of such AGREEMENT with <br />City, Paulveda Roberts, does hereby grant to CITY OF GRAND <br />ISLAND, NEBRASKA, A Municipal Corporation, its successors and <br />assigns, a lien upon the following described real estate situated <br />in Hall County, Nebraska: <br /> <br />South 73 Feet of Lot five (5), Block One Hundred Forty-Two (142), <br />Union Pacific Railroad Second Addition <br />to the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska <br />according to the record plat thereof, <br /> <br />to secure repayment to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, its <br />successors and assigns, of the amount of the grant hereinabove <br />referred to or, as the case may be, a part thereof in accordance <br />with the terms and conditions set forth in the HOUSING <br />REHABILITATION GRANT AGREEMENT to which reference is made <br />hereinabove. <br /> <br />The lien herein granted shall run with the premises for a <br />period of three (3) years from this date, and shall also bind the <br />successors and assigns and, except as provided in such AGREEMENT, <br />the personal representatives, heirs, devisees, and legatees of <br />Homeowner. <br /> <br />Dated this ~I/nt, day of ~..IU , 1983. <br /> <br />- ;Xa~iJ~h <br /> <br /> <br />STATE OF NEBRASKA ) <br />) ss <br />County of Hall ) <br /> <br />On this _~~_ day of 1J?~ , 1983, before me, the <br />und~rsigned, duly commissioned and acting in and for such county, <br />pl;irsonally appeared paulveda Roberts, known to me to be the <br />idEi,ntical persons whose signatures are affixed to the foregoing <br />L~'.lStrumen t, and they acknOWledged the execution of such <br />i~st~qmentto betneir voluntary act (s) and deeds(s). <br /> <br />witness whE!reof, I have hereunto set my official hand and <br />da~e last above written. <br /> <br />1l~7;O Q:. 4~ <br />''Notary Public <br />
