<br />WHEREAS, Geneva Smith, (hereinafter usually referredtoa~
<br />"Homeowner", whether one or more) has entered into a certain
<br />written EMERGENCY HOME REPAIR AGREEMENT dated the .1thdayof

<br />"City">, acting through its Communi ty DeVelopment Agen:cy,fot
<br />rehabilitation of a dwelling on premises owned byHomeownel"wh1ch'
<br />are hereinafter described, and for the granting by Cit,yt?'
<br />Homeowner of Federal funds in the amount of Two Thousa~d,S,i,X;
<br />Hundred Ninety Three Dollars and nol1 00 ($2,693.00 to be a.p'plied
<br />in payment of the cost of such rehabilit'a.tion, and
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, Homeowner in such AG REEMEN! has ,among other'
<br />things, agreed (a) to repay such amount or, as thecasemliY bEr,a,
<br />part thereof to City in certain cir'cumstances describedip'the
<br />AGREEMENT, and (b) to execute and deliver to Ci ty an instr'Um:ent'
<br />in recor'dable form granting to City a lien on the premisea, to
<br />secure such repayment,

<br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of such AGREEMENT with
<br />City, Geneva Smith, does hereby grant to CITY OF GRAND ISLAND,
<br />NEBRASKA, A Municipal Corporation, its successor's and assigns, a
<br />lien upon the following described real estate situated In Hall
<br />County, Nebraska:

<br />Lot 10, Block 38, Wheelers Addition
<br />
<br />an addition to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska,
<br />according to the record plat thereof,
<br />
<br />to secure repayment to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, its
<br />successors and assigns, of the amount of the grant hereinabove
<br />referred to or, as the case may be, a part thereof in accordance
<br />with the terms and conditions set forth in the HOUSING
<br />REHABILITATION GRANT AGREEMENT to which reference is made
<br />hereinabove.
<br />
<br />The lien herein granted shall run with the premises until
<br />such time as title to the property is transferred to another
<br />owner. At this time, the entire amount of the lien shall become
<br />due and payable.
<br />
