<br />I <br /> <br />REAL ESTATE LIEN <br /> <br />83- U04117 <br /> <br />WHEREAS Donna Foreman, (hereinafter usually referred to as <br />"Homeowner", whether one or more) has entered into a certain <br />written HOUSING REHABILITATION GRANT AGREEMENT dated the <br />day of July 7 , 1983 with the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, <br />a municipal corporation (hereinafter usually referred to as <br />"City"), acting through its Community Development. Agency, for <br />rehabilitation of a dwelling on premises owned by Homeowner which <br />are hereinafter described, and for the granting by City to <br />Homeowner of Federal funds in the amount of Four Thousand and <br />Ten Dollars ($4,010.00) to be applied in payment of the cost of <br />such rehabilitation, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Homeowner in such AGREEMENT has, among other <br />things, agreed (a) to repay such amount or, as the case may be, a <br />part thereof to City in certain circumstances described in the <br />AGREEMENT, and (b) to execute and deliver to City an instrumen t <br />in recordable form granting to City a lien on the premises to <br />secure such repayment, <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of such AGREEMENT with <br />the City, Donna Foreman, does hereby grant to CITY OF GRAND <br />ISLAND, NEBRASKA, A Municipal Corporation, its successors and <br />assigns, a lien upon the following described real estate situated <br />in Hall County, Nebraska: <br /> <br />LOT SEVEN (71 BWCK ONE HUNDRED THIRTY-FIVE (135) except the EAST <br />THREE ()) FEET of the SOUTH SIXTY-SIX (66) FEET of UNION PACIFIC <br />RAILWAY'S SECOND ADDITION <br />an addition to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, <br />according to the record plat thereof, <br /> <br />to secure repayment to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, its <br />successors and assigns, of the amount of the grant hereinabove <br />referred to or, as the case may be, a part thereof in accordance <br />with the terms and conditions set forth in the HOUSING <br />REHABILITATION GRANT AGREEMENT to which reference is made <br />hereinabove. <br /> <br />The lien herein granted shall run with the premises for a <br />period of three (3) years from this date, and shall also bind the <br />successors and assigns and, except as provided in such AGREEMENT, <br />the personal representatives, heirs, devisees, and legatees of <br />Homeowne r . <br /> <br />Dated this ~ day of July <br /> <br />, 1983. <br /> <br />,\.f' .
