<br />1. The City of GRand Island, Nebraska, by action of its City
<br />Council on May 9, 1983, enacted Ordinance No. 6918 which directed
<br />the conveyance of the real estate described below and the manner
<br />and terms thereof.
<br />
<br />2. Ordinance No. 6918 was pu.blished in the Grand Is land Daily
<br />Ind.ependent, a legal newspaper published in and of general circula-
<br />tion . .$uCh City on May 16, 1983, and immediately thereafter notice
<br />of such sale and the terms thereof were published in the Grand Island
<br />Daily Independent for three consecutive weeks, on May 17, May 24, and
<br />May 31, 1983, all as required by Section 16-202, R.R.S. 1943.

<br />3. No remonstrance against such sale ,,,as filed with the City
<br />Council of the City of Grand Is land, Nebraska, wi thin thirty days
<br />of the passage and publication of such Ordina.nce No. 6918.
<br />
<br />4. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 6918 provides that if no remon-
<br />strance be filed against such conveyance, the Mayor and City Clerk-
<br />Finance Dirf!ctor shall make, execute, and deliver to the Grantee
<br />a Quitclaim Deed for said real estate, and the execution of such
<br />Quitclaim Deed is hereby authorized without further action on behalf
<br />of the City Council.

<br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Grand Island, Nebraska., a munici-
<br />pal corporation in Hall Coun ,Nebraska, as Grantor, in consider-
<br />ation of One Dollar--($1.00)--, does hereby quitclaim, grant, bar-
<br />gain, sell, convey and confirm unto

<br />a Nebraska corporation, herein called the Grantee, the following-
<br />described real proper in Hall County, Nebraska:

<br />Thirty (30) Feet of the Southerly Fifty-Five
<br />(55) Feet of vacated Hancock Aveneue, North
<br />of Fourth Street, as vacated by Ordinance No.
<br />6484, as located in West Heights Addition to
<br />the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska.
