BE IT ORDAINED BY THE :`1AYOR AND COUNCIL OF T"1E CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASEA: SECTION 1. Street Improvement District No. 1073 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, is hereby created. SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows: Beginning at the junction of the West line of Boggs Avenue and the North line of North Front Street, said point also being the Southeast corner of Lot 1, Block 14, Packer and Barr's Addition; [hence proceeding in a westerly direction along the North line of `:orth Front Street for a distance of 120 feet: thence deflectint right in a northerly direction 120 feet from and parallel to the West line or" Eoggs Avenue for a distance of 1000 feet: thence - deflecting right in an easterly direction along the South line of Sixth Street For a distance of 120 feet: thence deflecting left in a northerly direction along an extension of the West line of Boggs Avenue for a distance of 40 feet; ~ ~ thence deflecting right in an easterly direction 40 feet from and parallel o Q w to the South line of Sixth Street for a distance of 60 feet: thence deflecting o m ~ right in a southerly direction along an extension of the East line of Boggs r, ~ Avenue for a distance of 40 feet: thence deflecting left in an easterly direction ~ ¢ along the South line of Sixth Street fora distance of 120 feet; thence deflecting ~` w right in a southerly direction 120 feet from and parallel to the East line of ~ © o Boggs Avenue for a distance of 1000 feet: thence deflecting right in a westerly Ko ~ u ¢ direction along the North line of yorth Front Street for a distance of 120 feet; as I ~ thence deflecting left in a southerly direction along an extension of the East ¢ ~ line of Boggs Avenue for a distance of 40 feet; thence deflecting right in a westerly direction 40 feet from and parallel to the North line of North Front - Street for a distance of 60 feet: thence deflecting right in a northerly direction along an extension of the West line of Boggs Avenue for a distance of 40 feet to the point of beginning, all as shown on the plat marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. SECTION 3. The following street in the district shall be improved by paving, curbing, guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith: Boggs Avenue from North Front Street to Sixth Street. Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer £or the City and approved by the Mayor and Council. SECTION 4. The improvements shall be made at public cost, but the cost thereof, excluding intersections, shall be assessed upon the~lots and lands in the district specially benefited thereby, as provided by law. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication, without the plat, as provided by law. SECTION 6. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the office of the Register. of Deeds, Hall County, Nebraska. SECTION 7.
