~~~~ 110$ ORDINANCE N0. 7021 An ordinance creating Street Improvement District No. 1076; defining the boundaries of the district; providing for the improvement of a street within the district by paving, guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith; and providing the effective date of this ordinance. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE PIAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA: SECTION 1. Street Improvement District No. 1076 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, is hereby created. SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows: Beginning at a point where the South right-of-way line of North Front Street intersects the East right-of-way line of Boggs Avenue: thence East on the South right-of-way line of North Front Street a distance of 120.0 feet; thence South parallel to the East right-of-way line of Boggs Avenue to the South right-of-way line of Blake Street; thence East on the South right-of-way line of Blake Street a distance of 90.0 feet; thence ¢ ~ South parallel to the East right-of-way line of Boggs Avenue to the southerly ~ ~ ~ right-of-way line of Old Lincoln Highway; thence Southward on the southerly o ~ ~ right-of-way line of Old Lincoln Highway to a point 126.0 feet tdest of the southerly extension of the West right-of-way line of Boggs Avenue: thence ~ ~z a North parallel to the West right-of-way line of Boggs Avenue to the South "~ line of Block 32, Packer and Barr's Second Addition; thence East a distance ~ m o > ~ '-~+ _; of 6.0 feet; thence North parallel to and 120.0 feet West of the West ¢ "- ¢ right-of-way line of Boggs Avenue to the South right-of-way line of North I J Front Street; thence East on the South right-of-way line of North Front Street - a distance of 120.0 fee[; thence North on the idest right-of-way line of ~_ _ ____._ Boggs Avenue a distance of 30.0 feet; thence East parallel to the South right-of-way line of North Front Street a distance of 60.0 feet: thence South on the Easc right-of-way line of Boggs Avenue a distance of 30.0 feet., to the point of beginning, ail as shown on the plat marked Exhibit "A"-attaphed hereto and incorporated herein by reference. SECTION 3. The following street in the district shall be improved by paving, curbing-,_ guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith: Boggs Avenue from Old Lincoln Highway to North Front Street. Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer for the City and approved by the Mayor and Council. SECTION 4. The improvements shall be made at public cost, but the cost thereof, excluding intersections, shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the district specially benefited thereby, as provided by law. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication, without the plat, as provided by law. SECTION 6. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the office of the Register of Deeds, Hall County, Nebraska. SECTION 7. After passage, approval, and publication of this ordinance, notice of the creation of said district shall be published in the Grand Island Daily Independent, a legal newspaper published and of general circulation in said City, as provided by law.
