G 110 r ORDINANCE N0. 7022 An ordinance creating Street Improvement District No. 1077: defining the boundaries of the district; providing for the improvement of a street within the district by paving, gut tering, and all incidental work in connection therewith; and providing the effective date of this ordinance. BE IT ORDAINED BY TH°_ MAYOR AND COUNCIL 0£ THE CITY 0£ GRAND ISLAND. NEBRASKA: SECTION 1. Street Improvement District No. 1077 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, is hereby created. SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows: Beginning at a point •~rhere the East right-of-way line of Grace Avenue intersects the North right-of-way line of George Street; thence Nbrth.on the East right-of-way line of Grace Avenue a distance of 140.0 feet; thence East parallel to the North right-of-way line of George Street a distance o£ 252.0 feet to the West right-of-way line of Carey Avenue; thence South on o w the West right-of-way line of Carey Avenue a distance of 140-.0 feet: thence <~ ~ East on the North right-of-way line of George Street a distance of 30.Ofeet; o ~~ ¢ thence South parallel to the idest right-of-way line of Carey Avenue a distance- tD ~ ~ a o£ 80.0 feet; thence West on the South right-of-way line of George Street a ~ '~' w distance of 30.0 feet; thence South on the West right-of-way line of Carey ~ m a Avenue a distance of 244.45 feet: thence West parallel to the South right-of- ~ ~ a way line of George Street a distance of 252.0 feet to the East right-of-way n ~ line of Grace Avenue; thence North on the East right-of-way line of Grace Avenue ~ a distance of 244.45 feet; thence West on the South right-of-way line of George Street a distance of 30.0 feet: [hence North parallel to the East right-of-way A d' a c of 80 0 feet• thence East on the North right- line of Grace venue a isi n e of-way line of George Street a distance of 30.0 feet to the point of beginning, -all as shown on [he plat marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated: herein by reference. SECTION 3. The following street in the district shall be improved by paving:, curbing., guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith; George Street from Grace Avenue to Carey Avenue. Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by. the Engineer for the City and approved by the Mayor and Council. SECTION 4. The improvements shall be made at public cost, bu*_ the cost thereof, excluding intersections, shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the district specially benefited thereby, as provided by law. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication, without the plat, as provided by law. SECTION 6. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the office of the Register of Deeds, Nall County, Nebraska. SECTION 7. After passage, approval, and publication of this ordinance, notice of the creation of said district shall be published in the Grand Island Daily Independent, a legal newspaper published and of general circulation in said City, as provided by law.
