<br />WHEREAS, _Franeisco & Benita Rosas ,
<br />{hereinafter usually referred to as "Homeowner", whether ohe or
<br />more) has entered into a certain written EMERGENCY HOME REPAIR
<br />AGREEMENT dated the 20th day of January. , 1984, with the City
<br />of Grand- Island, Nebraska, a municipal eorpocation {here'nafter
<br />usually referred to as "City"), acting thro-ugh its Comm-unity
<br />Development Agency, for rehabilitation of a dwelling on premises
<br />owned by Homeowner which are hereinafter described, and f or' the`
<br />granting by City to Homeowner of Federal funds in the amount of`
<br />Two Thous-and Nine Hundred Eighty_E~ht_and no/100_(~2s988.0:0)
<br />to be applied in payment of the cost of such rehabl"itaton, and
<br />WHEREAS, Homeowner in such AGREEMENT has, among other
<br />things, agreed (a) to repay such amount or, as the ease may bey. a
<br />part thereof to City in certain circumstances described in the
<br />AGREEMENT, and (b) to execute and deliver to City an ins tru'ment
<br />in recordable form granting to City a lien on the premises to
<br />secure such repayment,
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of such AGREEMENT- with
<br />City, Francisco & Benita Rosas , does hereby grant to CITY OF
<br />GRAND I LAND, NEBRASKA, A Municipal Corporation., its successors:
<br />and assigns, a lien upon the following described real estate-
<br />situated in Hall County, Nebraska:
<br />No. 52 feet, Lot 8, Block 130, UPRR 2nd Addition and it's
<br />compliment, North 52' of Lot 8, BLock 6, Voitles Addition.
<br />an addition to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska,
<br />according to the record plat thereof,
<br />to s ecure repayment to the City of Crand Island,. Nebraska, its.
<br />successors and assigns, of the amount of the grant her einaboue.
<br />referred to or, as the ease may be, a part thereof in aceordance_-
<br />with the terms and conditions set forth in the EMERGENCY HO:M;E.-
<br />REPAIR AGREEMENT to which reference is made hereinabove.
<br />The lien herein granted shall run with the premises until
<br />such time as title to the property is transferred to another
<br />owner. At this time, the entire amount of the lien shall become
<br />due and payable.
