BE IT ORDAIA*ED BY THE MAYOR AND COLS.CIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA: SECTION 1. Street Improvement Distzict No. 1071 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, is hereby created. SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows: Beginning where the North right-of-way line or' F_f th Street intersects the East right-of-way line of Boggs Avenue; thence North on the East right-of-way line of Boggs Avenue a distance of 140.0 feet; thence East parallel to the North right-vf-way line of Fifth Street a distance of 252.0 feet to the West right-of-way line of White Avenue; thence South a ~ on the West right-of-way line of t~i~ite Avenue a distance of 140.0 feet; o ~ thence East on the North right-of-way Line of Fifth Street a distance of ~ m ~ 30.0 feet; thence South parallel to the West right-of-way line of White ~ Avenue a distance of 80.0 feet; thence West on the South right-of-way `~ ,= line of Fifth Street a distance of 30.0 feet; thence South on the West d.%>- -~-~ w right-of-way line of !.'Hite Avenue a distance of 140.0 feet; thence Wast ~~' n ~ parallel to the South right-o s`-way line of Fifth Street a distance of o LL ...~ 252.0 feet to the East right-of-way line of Boggs Avenue; thence North ~ ~ `= on [he East right-of-way line of Boggs Avenue a distance of 140.0 feet: thence West on the South right-vf-way line of Fifth Street a distance of 60.0 feet; thence North vn the West. right-of-way line of Boggs Avenue a distance of 80.0 feet: thence East on the North right-of-way line of Fifth Street a distance of 60.0 Fez[ to the point of beginning, a1i as shown on the plat marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. SECTION 3. The following street in the district shall be improved-by paving, curbing, guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith: Fifth Street from Boggs Avenue to White Avenue. Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer for the City and eppraved by the Mayor and Council. SECTION 4. The improvements sha12 be made at public casC, but the cost thereof, excluding intersections, shall 6e assessed upon the lots and lands in the district speeially benefited thereby, as provided by Law. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall 6e in force and take effect from and after its passage, approval, and gublication, without the plat, as provided by law. SECTION 6. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the office of the Register of Deeds, Hall County, Nebraska. SECTION 7. After passage, approval, and gublication of this ordinance, notice of the creation of said district shall be published in the Crand Island Daily Independent, a legal newspaper publlished and of general circulation in said City, as provided by law.
