BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA; SECTION 1. Street Fmprovement District No. 2070 in the City of Grand Island., Nebzaska, is hereby created. - SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows: Beginning at a point where the North right-of-way Iine of Fifth Street intersects the Ease right-of-way line of Darr Avenue; thence North on the East right-nf-way line of Darr Avenue a distance of 140.0 feet; thence East parallel to the North right-of-way of Fifth Street a distance of 252.0 - ~ Z feet to the West right-of-way line of Boggs Avenue: thence South on [he O ~ W West right-of-way line of Boggs Avenue a distance of 140.0 feet; thence o m g East on the North right-of-way line of Fifth Street a distance of 60.0 feet; ~. thence South on the Ease right-of-way line of Boggs Avenue a distance of w a 80.0 feet; thence West on the South right-of-way line of Fi€th Street a a ~ distance of 60.0 feet; [hence South en the West right-of-way line of Boggs W<<~;. m o Avenue a distance of 140.0 feet: thence West parallel to the South right- ;~ '~ ~ ~ of-way line cf Fi:eh Street a distance e` 2G2.0 feet to *_hc East right-af- ;~ ~. way line of Darr Avenue; thence North on the East right-of-way line of Darr ~ Avenue a distance of .40.0 feetr thence West on the South right-af-way line of Fifth Scree[ a distance of 3O.u feet: thence North parallel to t:ce €ast _ right-of-w,y line of Darr Avenue a distance of 80.0 feet: thence East on the North right-of-way line of Fifth Street a distance of 30.0 feet, to-the - point of beginning, all as shown on the plat marked Exhibit "A" attached. hereto and incorporated herein by reference. - - SECTION 3. The following street in the district shall be improved by paving.;curbing:, guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith: Fifth Street from Darr Avenue to Boggs Avenue. - Said improvements shall be made in accozdance with plans and specifications prepared by the :Engineer for the City and approved by the Mayor and Council. SECTION 4. 'ihe improvemerts snail ue made at public cast, but the cost thereof, - excluding intersee[ions, shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the district specially benefited thereby, as provided by law. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in Force and take effect from-and after ita- ptaaage, approval, and publication, without the plat, as provided by law_ SECTION. 6. This ordinance, wi[h the plat, is hereby dizected to be filed in the office of the Register of Deeds, Hall County, Nebraska. SECTION 7. After passage, approval, and publication of this ordinance, notice of the creation of said district shall be published in the Grand Island Daily Independent, a legal newspaper published and of general circulation in said City, as provided by law.
