BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA: SECTION 1. Street Improvement Distrlct No. 1068 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, is hereby created. SECTION 2. SECTION 3. The following street in the district shall be improved by paving, curbing, guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith: Fifth Street from Csrey P.venue to Ruby Avenue. Said improvements shall be made is accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer for the City and approved by the Mayor and Council. SECTIilN 4. The improvements shall be made at public cost, out the cost thereof. excluding intersections, shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in ehe district specially benefited thereby, as provided by law. SECTION S. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication, without the plat, as provided by law. SECTION 6. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the office of the Register of Deeds, Nall County, Nebraska, SECTION 7. After passage, approval, and publication of this ordinance, notice of the creation of said district shall be published in trte Grand Island Daily Independent, a legal newspaper published and of general cfreulatian in said City, as provided by law.
