BE IT ORDAINEb HY THE MAYOR AND COI3NCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NE$RASKA: SECTION 1. Street Improvement District No. 1067 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, is hereby created. SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows: Beginning at a pcint where the East right-of-way line of Boggs Avenue intersects the North right-of-way line of Sixth Street; thence North on the East right-of-way line of Hoggs Avenue a distance of 119.0 feet; thence East parallel to the North right-of-way line of Sixth Street a distance of ~.. 132.0 feet; thence southeasterly to a point on the West right-of-way Line of ~¢ z White Avenue, said point being 99.0 feet North of the North right-of-way line ~ _o ~ of Sixth Street; thence South on the iJest right-of-way line of White Avenue P; ~~ ~- a distance of 99.0 feet: thence East on the North right-of-way line of Sixth Street a distance of 30.0 feet: thence South parallel to the West right-of-way v w line of White Avenue a distance of B0.0 feet; thence West on the South right- ~µ'i m ^ of-way line of Sixth Street a distance of 30.0 feet; thence South on the West ~ right of way line of White :venue a distance of 140.0 feet: thence West parallel " ~ to the South right-of-cosy Line of Sixth Street a distance of 232.0 feet to the ~ East right-of-way line of Hoggs Avenue; thence North on the East right-of-way line of Boggs Avenue a distance of 140.0 feet: thence West on the Sauth right- .___.___. of-way line of Sixth Street a distance of 30.0 feet; thence North-paxalaeL.to the East right-of-way line of Boggs Avenue a distance of H0.0 feet; thence Eas[ on the North right-of-way line of Sixth Street a distance of 30.0 feet to tfie point of beginning. SECTION 3. The following street in the district shall be improved by paving., curtiing; guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith: Sixth Street from Hoggs Avenue to White Avenue. -_ Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications prepared-_by the Engineer for the City and approved by the Mayor and Council. SECTION 4. The improvements shall be made at public coat, but the cost thereof, excluding intersections, shall be assessed upon the lots and lands, in the district-specially, benefited thereby, as provided by law. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its passage„ approval, and. publication., without the plat, as provided by Law. SECTION 6. This ordinance., with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed- in the. of€ce, of the Register of Deeds, Hall County, Nebraska. SECTLON 7. After passage, approval, and publication of this ordinance, notice of- the creation of said district shall be published in the Crand Island Daily Independent, a legal newspaper published and of general circulation in said City, as provided by law.
