r 84 --{~U0770 ORDINANCE NO. 7010 An ordinance creating Street Improvement District No. 1065; defining the boundaries of the district; providing for the improvement of a street within the district by paving, guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith; and providing the effective date of this ordinance. - BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA: SECTION 1. Street Improvement District No. 1065 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, is hereby created. SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows: Beginning at a point where the East right-of-way line of Grace Avenue intersects the North right-of-way line of Sixth Street; thence Notth on the East right-of-way line of Grace Avenue a distance of 125.0 feet;- thence East parallel to the North right-of-way of Sixth Street a distance of 252.0 feet to the West right-of-way line of Carey Avenue; thence South on the West right-of-way line of Carey Avenue a distance of 125 feet; thence Easc on the North right-of-way line of Sixth Street a distance of 30.0 feet; thence South parallel to the West right-of-way line of Carey Avenue a distance of 60.0 feet: [hence West on the South right-of-wey line of Sixth Street a distance of 30.0 feet; thence South on the West right-of- way line of Carey Avenue a distance of 150.0 feet;~thence West parallel to the South line of Sixth Street a distance of 252.0 feet to the East right- of-way line of Grace Avenue; thence Nor*_h on the East right-of-way line of Grace Avenue a distance of 150 feet: thence West on the South right-of-way line of Sixth Street a distance of 30.0 feet; [hence North parallel to the East right-of-way line of Grace Avenue a distance of 60.0 feet: thence East an the North right-of-way line of Sixth Street a distance of 30.0 feet to the point o£ beginning, SECTION 3. The following street in the district shall 6e improved by paving, curbing, guttering. and all incidental work in connection therewith: Sixth Street from Grace Avenue to Carey Avenue. Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer for the City and approved by the Mayor and Council. SECTION 4. The improvements shall be made at public cost, but the cost thereof, e:eluding intersections, shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the district specially. benefited thereby, as provided by law. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its puuge, approval, and publication, without the plat,. as provided by law. SECTION 6. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the office of the Register of Deeds, Hall Gountq, Nebraska. SECTION 7. After passage, approval, and publication of this ordinance, notice of the creation of said district shall be published in the Crand Island Daily Independent, a legal newspaper published and of general circulation in said City, as provided by law.
