BE IT ORDAINED BY THE NAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA: SECTION 1. Street Improvement District No. 1064 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, is hereby created. SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows: Beginning at a pcint where the Narch right-of-way line of Sixth Street intersects the East right-of-way line or` Custer Avenue: thence North on the East right-of-way line of Custer Avenue a distance of 125.0 feet; thence East parallel to the North right-of-way line of Sixth Street a distance o€ 564.0 feet to the West right-of-way line of Grace Avenue; thence South on the West right-of-way line o€ Grace Avenue a distance of 125.0 feet: thence East on the North right-of-way line of Sixth Street a distance of 30.0 feet: thence South parallel to the West right-of-way line of Grace Avenue a distance of 60.0 €eet: thence West on the South right-of-way line of Sixth Street a distance of 30.0 feet; thence South on the West right-of-way line o€ Grace Avenue a distance of 150.0 feet: thence West parallel to the South right-of- way line of Sixth Screet a distance o€ 56v.0 feet to the East right-of-way line of Custer Avenue: thence North on the cast right-of-way line of Custer Avenue a distance of 150.0 feet; thence West on the westerly extension of the South right-of-way iine of Sixth Street a distance of 30.0 feet; thence North parallel to the East right-of-way line of Custer Avenue a distance o€ ' b0.0 feet; thence East a distance of 30.0 feet to the paint of beginning. SECTION 3. The following street in the district shall be improved by paving, curbing, guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith: Sixth Street from Custer Avenue to Grace Avenue. Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer for the City and approved by the Mayor and Council. SECTION 4. The improvements shall be made at publiccost, but the cost thereof, excluding intersections, shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the district speciall: benefited thereby, as provided by law. - SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its gaaaage, approval, and publication, without the plat, as provided by law. SECTION 6. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the office of the Registez of Deeds, Hall County, Nebraska. SECTION 7. After passage, apprnva2, and publication of this ordinance, notice of thecreation of said district shall be published in the Crand Island Daily Independent, a legal newspaper gubl/ished and of general circulation in said City, as provided by law.
