<br />KNOW ALL MEN BW THESE PRESENTS:
<br />That Michael Galvan and Marilyn J. Galvan, husband- and wife, hereinafter
<br />referred to as Grantors, for One Dollar ($1.00) and other good and valuable con-
<br />sideration as more fully set forth below, do hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey and
<br />conf'rcm unto the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, his successors and
<br />assigns, hereinafter referred to as Grantee, the following described real property
<br />in Hall County, Nebraska, to-wit:
<br />Lot Eight (8), Block Twenty-nine (29), PACKER AND BARR'S SECOND
<br />ADDITION to the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska ,
<br />TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described premises, together with all
<br />tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances thereto belonging unto the Grantee and
<br />to his successors and assigns forever.
<br />And the Grantors do hereby covenant with the Grantee and with the
<br />Grantee's successors and assigns that Grantors are lawfully <_eised of said premises;
<br />that they are free from encumbrance except easements, covenants and restrictions of
<br />record and except real estate taxes becoming delinquent in 1983 and future years;
<br />that the Grantors have good right and lawfu! authority to convey the same; and that
<br />Grantors warrant and will defend the title to said premises against the lawful claims
<br />of all persons whomsoever.
<br />This deed is an absolute conveyance of title in effect as well as in form,
<br />and is not intended as a mortgage, trust conveyance or security of any kind. The
<br />consideration therefor is the full release and discharge of all debts, notes, obliga-
<br />tions, costs and charges heretofore subsisting on account of and by the terms of a
<br />certain mortgage executed by Michael Galvan and Marilyn J. Galvan, in the sum of
<br />$75,050.00 given to Superior Mortgage, Inc., dated April 5, 1982, recorded April 6,
<br />1982, in the office of the Register of Deeds for Hall County, Nebraska, as Instru-
<br />ment No. 82-001300 and subsequently assigned to Norwest Mortgage, !nc., f/k/a
<br />Banco Mortgage Company by written assignment dated April 7, 1982 and recorded
<br />April 16, 1982, in the office of the Register of Deeds for Half County, Nebraska,
<br />as Instrument No. 82-001471, fihe acceptance of this deed being in full satisfaction
<br />,. of said indebtedness as afo~aid, and terminating,. said mortgage.
