<br />r <br />~,,[i0540 ~ <br />ORDINANCE N0. 70D4 <br />An ordinance creating Street Improvement District No. 1060; defining the boundaries <br />of Che district; providing for the improvement of a street within Che district by paving-, <br />guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith; and providing the effective <br />date of this ordinance. <br />BE lT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA: <br />SECTION 1. Street Improvement District No. 1060 in the City of Grand Island., Nebraska, <br />is hereby created. <br />SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows: <br />Beginning where the northerly right-of-way line of Fifth Street intersects <br />the westerly right-of-way line of Vine Street; thence northeasterly along <br />the northerly right-of-way line of Fifth Street a distance of 80.0 feet: thence <br />southeasterly a1an3 the easterly right-of-way line of Vine Street a distance <br />of 80.0 feet; thence southwesterly slang the southerly right-of-way line of <br />Fifth Street a distance of 80.0 feet: [hence southeasterly along the westerly <br />g F- right-o t"-way Line of Vine Street a distance of 132.0 feet: thence southwesterly <br />p „zj parallel m the southerly right-of-way line of Fifth Street a distance of 264.0 <br />'° ` n ~ feet; thence northwesterly along the Aasterly right-of-way line of Oak Street <br />~ 1 '~- ~ a distance of 132.0 feet: thence southwesterly along the southerly right-of-way <br />I ' line of Fifth Street a distance of 40 feet: thence northwesterly parallel to <br />~ ~= w the easterly right-of-way line of iiak Street a distance of 80.0 feet; thence <br />W,~ `~ ~ <br />.~ northeasterly aiorg the northerly right-of-way line of Fifth Street a iscance <br />~•~ a of 40.0 fact: thence northwesterly along Che easterly right-of-way line of Oak <br />t7 Street a distance of 132.0 fee*_: thence northeasterly parallel to the northerly <br />~ right-af-way Line of Fifth Street a discanoe of 264.0 feet; thence southeasterly <br />along the westerly right-of-way line of Vine Street a distance of 132.0 feet <br />- to the point of beginrirg. <br />SECTION 3. The following street in the district shall be improved by paving, curbing, <br />guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith: <br />Fifth Street from Oak Street to Vine Street. <br />Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by <br />the Engineer for the City and approved by the Mayor end Council. <br />SECTION 4. The improvements shall be Wade at public cost, but the cost thereof, <br />excluding intersectlons, shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the district <br />specially benefited thereby, as provided by law. <br />SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its <br />passage, approval, and publication, without the plat, as provided by law. <br />SECTION 6. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the office <br />of the Register of Deeds, ?fall County. Nebraska. <br />SECTION 7.
