ORDINANCE N0. ?001 .~ -~ An ordinance creating Street Improvement District No. 1058: defining the boundaries of the district; providing for the improvement of a street within the district by paving, guttering, and all incidental work in cannect_ion r_hQxewith; and providing the effective date of this ordinance. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COl7NCIL OF TAE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA: SECTION I. Street Improvement District No. 1058 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, is hereby created. SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall he as follows: Beginning at the junction of the East line of Boggs Avenue and the North line of Eleventh Avenue, said point also being the Southwest corner of Lot 9, Block 5, Boggs and Hilt's Addition; thence proceeding in a southerly direction along an extension of the East Line of Eoggs Avenue for a distance of 25 feet; then cz def iecting right in a westerly direction 25 feet from and parallel to the North line of Eleventh Avenue for a distance of 50 feet; thence deflecting right in a northerly direction along an extension of the West line of Boggs Avenue for a distance of ZS feet: thence deflecting ieft in a westerly direction along the North line of Eleventh Avenue for a distance of 193.91 feet: H thence deflecting right in a northerly directfon for a distance of 240 feet ~ 2 to a point an the South tine of Tweifth Stree*_ located 193.95 feet West of the -~ ~ ~ West line of Boggs Avenue; [hence deflecting right in an easterly direction o~ ~ ~- along the South line of Twelfth Street for a distance of 193.95 feet: thence ~, ~ d ~ deflecting left ~n a northerly direction along an extension of the West line f B f :,~? ¢ w o ogg~ Avenue or a distance of 35 feet: thence deflecting right in an Y n easterl direction ZS feet from and parallel to the South line of Twelfth o ~ .~ s'tree[ for a distance of 50 feet; thence deflecting right in a southerly ~ ~ direction along an extension of the East Line of Boggs Avenue for a distance ~ ~ of 25 feet; thence deflecting left in an easterly directien along the South i t line of Twelfth Street for a distance of 200 feet; thence deflecting right in a sov[herl_v directien 200 feet from and parallel to the East line of Boggs Avenve for a distance of 240 feet; thence deflecting right in a westerly direction along the North line of Eleventh Avenue For a distance of 200 feet, to the point of beginning, all as shown on the plat marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. SECTI ON 3. The following street in the district shall be improved by paving, curbing, guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith: Boggs Avenue from Eleventh Avenue to Twelfth Street. Said improvements shall 6e made in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer for the City and approved by the Mayor and Council. SECTION 4. The imgrovementa shall be made at public cost, but the cost thereof, excluding intersections, snail be assessed upon the Lots and lands in the district specially benefited thereby, as provided by law. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in force and take effect from and after its passage. approval, and publication, without the plat, as provided by law. SECTION 8. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the office of the Register of Deeds, Hall County, Nebraska. SECTION 7. After passage, approval, and publication of this ordinance, notice of t3~a creation of said district shall be gublished in the Grand Island Daily Independent, a lesal newspaper gublished and of general circulation in said City, as provided by law.
