BE IT ORDAINED BY THE b1AY0R AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA: SECTION 1. Street Improvement District No. 1057 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, is hereby created. SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows: Beginning at the junction of the East line of Boggs Avenue and the North line of Eleventh Street, said point also being the Southwest corner of Lot 9, Block 8, of Boggs sad Hill's Addition; thence proceeding in a southerly direction along an extension of the East line of Boggs Avenve for a distance of 25 feet: thence deflecting right in a westerly direction 25 feet from and parallel co the North line of Eleventh Street for a distance of 50 feet: thence deflecting right in a northerly direction along an extension of the f F- West line of Boggs Avenue for a distance of 25 feet; thence deflecting left z in a westerly direction along the North Llne of Eleventh Street for a distance ,p ~ of 193.66 feet: Chance deflecting right in a northerly direction for a distance C ~ ~- F- of 240 feet to a point on the South line of Eleventh Avenue located 193.86 feet m < Wesc of the '~~'est line of Boggs Avenue: thence deflecting right in an easterly ~`~ ca ~ direction along the South line of Eleventh Avenue for a distance of 193.86 feet; a Y o thence deflecting left in a northerly direction along an extension of the West '3 ¢ line of Boggs Avenue for a direction of 25 feet; thence deflecting right in an -~ - easterly direction 25 feet trem and parallel to the South line of Elevent w Avenue far a distance of 50 feet: thence deflecting right in a southerly ~ direction slang an extension of the East line of Boggs Avenue for a distance of 25 feet; thence deflecting left in an easterly direction along the South line of Eleventh .avenue for a distance ot` 200 feet; thence deflecting right 1n a southerly direction 200 feet from and parallel to the East line of Boggs Avenve for a distance of 240 feet: thence deflecting right in a westerly direction slang 'he North line of Eleventh Street far a distance of 200 feet to the point of beginning all as shown or. the plat marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herei^ by reference. SECTION 3. The following street in the district shall be improved by paving, curbing, guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith: Boggs Avenue from Eleventh Street to Eleventh Avenue. Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer for the City and approved by the Mayor and Council. SECTION 4. The improvements shall be made at public cost, but the cost thereof, excluding intersections, shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the district specially benefited thereby, as provided by lav. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be in force and cake effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication, without the plat, as provided by Law. SECTION 6. This ordinance, with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the office of the Register of Deeds, Hall County, Nebraska. SECTION 7. After passage, approval, and publication of this ordinance. notice of the creation of said district shall be published in *_he Grand Island Daily Independent, a legal newspaper published and of general circulation in said City, as provided by law.
