BE IT ORDAINED BY THE 24AYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA: SECTION 1. Street Improvement District No. 1056 in the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, is bezeby created. SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as follows: Beginning at the junction of the Ease line of White Avenue and the North line of Tench S*_reet, said point also being the Southwest corner of Lot 9, Block 12, Boggs and Hi11's Addition; thence proceeding in a southerly direction slang an extension of the East Iine of Waite Avenue for a distance of 25 feet; thence deflecting right in a was*_erly direction 25 feet from and parallel to the North line of Tenth Street for a distance of 50 feet; thence deflecting right in a northerly direction along an extension of the West line of White Avenue for a distance of 25 feet: thence deflecting left is a westerly direction along the North line of Tench Street for a distance of 200 feet; c ~ thence deflecting right in a northerly direction 200 feet from and parallel p w to the West line-e£ 4fiite Avenue for a distance of 240 feet: thence deflecting g right in an easterly direction along the South Line of Eleventh Street for a ~ ~ ~- ¢ distance of 200 feet: thence deflecting left in a northerly direction along an `~ a extens_on of the west Line of White avenue for a distance of 25 feet: thence pt,~,~~ O deflecting right is an easterly direction 25 feet from and parallel to the >`i~' ~ South line of Eleventh Street for a distance of 50 fc-a t; thence deflecting ;I ~ ¢ right in a southerly direction along an extension of the Eas[ line of White ~ Avenue for a distance of 25 feet; Thence deflecting left in an easterly ~ direction along [he South line of Eleventh Street for a distance of 200 feet; thence deflecting right in a southerly direction 200 feet from and oarallel '-""- to the East line of White Avenue for a distance o£ 240 feet: thence deflecting right in a westerly direction along the North line ar` Tenth Street for a distance of 200 feet to the point of beginning, all as shown on the plat marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by refea'enee. SECTZON 3. The following street in the district shall be improved by paving, curbing, guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith: Wfii[e Avenue from Tenth Street tc Eleventh Street. Said improvements shall be made in accordance with plans and specifications prepared by the Engineer foz the City and approved by the Mayor and Council. SECTION 4. The improvements shall be madr at public cost, but the coat thereof, ezcluding intersections, shall be assessed upon the lots and lands in the district specially benefited thereby, as provided by law. SECTION 5. This ordinance shall be is farce and take effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication, without the plat, as provided by Law. SEGTiON 6. This ordinance with the plat, is hereby directed to be filed in the office of the Register of Deeds, Hall County, Nebraska. SECTION 7. After passage, approval, and publication of this ordinance,, notice of the creation of said district shall be published in the Grand Island Daily Independent, a legal nevapaper published and of general circulation in said City, as provided by law.
