The City of Grand Island, Nebraska, by action of its city <br />cOl.IDcil on September 2, 1980, enacted Ordinance No. 6619 which <br />directed the conveyance of the real estate described below and the <br />manner and terms thereof. <br /> <br />2. Ordinance No.66l9 was pub~ished in the Grand Island Daily <br />Independent, a legal newspaper published in and of general circu- <br />lation in such City, on September 8, 1980, and immediately thereafter, <br />notice of such sale and the terms thereof were published in the <br />Grand Island Daily Independent for three consecutive weeks, on <br />September 8, 1980, September 15, 1980, and September 22, 1980, all <br />as required by Section 16-202, R,R.S. 1943. <br /> <br />3, No remonstrance against such sale was filed with the city <br />cOl.IDcil of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, within thirty days of <br />the passage and publication of such Ordinance No. 6619. <br /> <br />4. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 6619 provides that if no remon- <br />strance be filed against such conveyance, the mayor and city clerk- <br />finance director shall make, execute, and deliver to the Grantees a <br />quitclaim deed for said real estate, and the execution of such <br />quitclaim deed is hereby authorized without further action on <br />behalf of the city council. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, a municipal <br />corporation in Hall County, Nebraska, as Grantor, in consideration <br />of One Dollar ($1.00), does hereby quitclaim, grant, bargain, sell, <br />convey, and confirm unto <br /> <br />RONALD E.
