BAKER and <br /> <br /> <br />LETHA BAKER, husband and wife, each in his and her own right, <br /> <br />herein called the Grantors, in consideration of Four Hundred Ninety Four <br /> <br />$494.00 <br /> <br />, received from Grantee, do hereby grant, bargain, <br /> <br />sell, convey, and confirm unto the <br /> <br />CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, <br /> <br />a municipal corporation in Hall County, State of Nebraska, <br /> <br />herein called the Grantee, the following described real property <br />in Giese's South Lawn, an Addition to the City of Grand Island, <br /> <br />Hall County, Nebraska: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point in the Southwest corner of <br />Giese's South Lawn Addition, said point also being <br />at the junction of the North line of Stolley Park <br />Road and the east line of Henry Street; thence proced- <br />ing East along the North line of Stolley Park Road <br />for a distance of 263.3 feet; thence deflecting left <br />along the West line of Ada Street for a distance of <br />7 feet; thence deflecting left in a southwesterly <br />direction to a pGint 15.5 feet West of the West line <br />of Ada Street and 1.5 feet North of the North line <br />of Stolley Park Road; thence deflecting right in a <br />westerly direction 1.5 feet from and parallel to the <br />North line of Stolley Park Road for a distance of <br />247.8 feet; thence deflecting left along the East <br />line of Henry Street for a distance of 1.5 feet to <br />the point of'beginning, all as shown on the plat <br />marked Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated <br />herein by reference. <br /> <br />To have and to hold the above described premises together <br />with all tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances thereto <br />belonging unto the Grantee and to Grantee's successors and <br />assigns forever. <br /> <br />And the Grantors hereby covenant with the Grantee and with <br />Grantee's successors and assigns that Grantors are lawfully <br />seised of said premises; that they are free from encumbrance <br />except easements of record and visible easements; that Grantors <br />have good right and lawful authority to convey the same; and <br />that Grantors warrant and will defend the title to said premises <br />against the lawful claims of all persons whomsoever. <br /> <br />Dated 2/17/63 <br /> <br />STATEMENT ATTACHED <br />NEBRASKA DOCUMENTARY. <br />STAMP TAX <br /> <br />':~~r~~ ~:k~;:~b~~/L <br /> <br /> <br />((II' ??
