<br />1. The City of Grand Island, Nebraska, by action of its
<br />city council on January 3, 1983, enacted Ordinance No. 6881
<br />which directed the conveyance of the real estate described below
<br />and the manner and terms thereof.
<br />2. Ordinance No. 6881 was published in the Grand Island
<br />Daily Independent, a Legal newspaper published in and of general
<br />circulation in such City on January 10, 1983, and immediately
<br />thereafter notice of such sale and the terms thereof were
<br />published in the Grand Island Daily Independent for Chree
<br />consecutive weeks, on January 11, January 28, and January 25,
<br />1.9$3, all as required by 5ectian 16-202, R.R.S. 1943.
<br />3. No remonstrance against such sale was filed with the
<br />city council of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, within
<br />thirty days of the passage and publication of such Ordinance
<br />No. 68$1.
<br />4. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 6881 provides that if no
<br />remonstrance be filed against such conveyance, the mayor and
<br />city clerk-finance director shall make, execute, and deliver
<br />to the Grantee a quitclaim deed for said real estate, and the
<br />execution of such quitclaim deed is hereby authorized without
<br />further action on behalf of the city council.
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, a
<br />municipal corporation in Na11 County, Nebraska, as Grantor, in
<br />consideration of One Dollar ($1.00) and an exchange of property,
<br />does hereby quitclaim, grant, bargain, sell, convey, and confirm
<br />unto
<br />ROBERT M. ALIEN,
<br />herein called the Grantee, the following described real property
<br />in Hall County, Nebraska:
<br />A tract of land located in Meadowlark West
<br />2nd Subdivision, an Addition to Grand Island,
<br />Nebraska, more particularly described as follows:
<br />A tract of Iand one hundred eighty-five
<br />1185) feet in width fronting on the sauth side of
<br />13th Street, and being the West one hundred
<br />eighty-five (185) teat of the East five hundred
<br />forty 1540) feet of Meadowlark West 2nd Sub-
<br />division, said tract comprising a part of Lot
<br />Four (4), being in Meadowlark West 2nd Sub-
<br />division, containing 84,175 square feet, or 1.9
<br />acres, more or less, as shown on Exhibit "A"
<br />dated 12/30/$2, attached hereto and incorporated
<br />herein by reference.
<br />To have and to hold the above described premises, together
<br />with all tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances thereto
<br />belonging unto the Grantee and to Grantee's heirs and assigns
<br />forever.
