<br />During anomaly investigation of the tand parcel wltl1tn thebound8ries of Load Line 2. one burial pit
<br />was encountered that contained asbestos material. The site was mapped using the GPS and malted
<br />u~ng slakes to deUnellle the estimated eldenl of contaminatIon, until follow-on disposition Is
<br />determined by the Department of the Army. This area totaling 0_34 acres is exc;:ludedfrom this 5X
<br />certilication and is shown in Figurll2_

<br />The EM-Ell MK2 geophysical investigation was not posslb1ewnhin the leach plllocaled at Load Line 2
<br />due to the depth and sIop.a Of the side waHs (refer to Figure 2). the leach pit was Investigated using
<br />the S.chonsl.edt GA52CX magnet.omeler. Ferrous metal anomaUasdetede4 were excavated by
<br />qua~f\ed UXO personnel and delermined 10 be non-MEC related metallic objects.
