(fl V\/-< J::: V1 - -I \A lJ'I - ~ tJ 0 -n (I Notice of Grant Agreement The Naturc Conservancy, a non-profit corporation ofthe District of Columbia (as the surviving entity in a merger with The Nature Conservancy of Nebraska, Inc.) is the owner of a certain piece or parcel of land located in Hall County, Nebraska, more particularly described in Exhibit A attached hereto and made part hereof (the "Property"). Notice is hereby given that The Nature Conservancy acquired the Property with North American Wetlands Conservation Fund funds pursuant to a Grant Agreement between the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and The Nature Conservancy, dated September 25,2003, Agreement Number: 9821 0-3-G482, a copy of which is kept at the North American Waterfowl & Wetlands Office, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Division of Bird Habitat Conservation, 440 I North Fairfax Drive, Arlington, VA 22203. The purpose of the Grant Agreement is for The Nature Conservancy to acquire migratory bird habitat, including both wetland and upland habitat, within the 80-mile stretch of the Platte River Conservation Corridor in Nebraska. In addition, partners under the grant will restore wetland-prairie landscapes by reintroducing a high-diversity mix of native plants and re- contouring sloughs and other wetland features. The Nature Conservancy is placing this notice on record as confirmation of its obligation as set forth in the Grant Agreement to ensure the long-term conservation of the Property in accordance with the terms of the Grant Agreement and to obtain the consent of the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service prior to conveyance or encumbrance of its interest in the Property.
