The DOT was given to secure the payment of a promissory note evidenc- ing the Grantor's obligations to repay amounts advanced by American under the terms of a restated letter agreement dated May 31, 198., as amended by letters dated November 15, 1984, November 16, 198., November 19, 1984, and November 20, 1984 along with any renewals, extensions, or amendments to or substitutions for the note, the restated letter agreement, or related instruments. By execution of a Modification Agreement dated as of the date of this MOdification, along with a an amended note and related docu- ments, the parties have modified and increased the principal amount of the line of credit available to the Grantor under the restated letter agreement. C.
