<br />WHEREAS, Heber Bengel, a Single Person
<br />(hereinafter usually referred to as "Homeowner", whether one or
<br />more) has entered into a certain written EMERGENCY HOME REPAIR
<br />AGREEMENT dated the 13th of November , 19~~, wi~h the City
<br />of Grand Island, Nebraska, a municipal corporatIon (hereinafter
<br />usually referred to as "City"), acting through its Community
<br />Development Agency, for rehabilitation of a dwelling on premises
<br />owned by Homeowner which are hereinafter described, and for the
<br />granting by City to Homeowner of Federal funds in the amount of
<br />Three Thousand Dollars and no/100 ( 000.00)
<br />to e applied in payment 0 the cost 0 such rehabllitation allcr
<br />
<br />WHEREAS, Homeowner has, among other things, agreed (a) to
<br />repay such amount or, as the case may be, a part thereof to City
<br />and (b) to execute and deliver to City an instrument in
<br />recordable form granting to City a lien on the premises to secure
<br />such repaymen t ,
<br />
<br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of such AGREEMENT witb
<br />City, Heber BengelJ A Sin,le Person
<br />does hereby grant to the C.TY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, A
<br />Municipal Corporation, its successors and assigns, a lien ~pon
<br />the ~ollowing described real estate situated in Hall County,
<br />Nebraska:

<br />Lot 3, Block 90, Wheeler & Bennett's 4th Addition
<br />
<br />an addition to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, accordiAI to
<br />the record plat thereof,
<br />
<br />to secure repayment to the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, its
<br />successors and assigns, of the amount of the grant hereinabove
<br />referred to or, as the case may be, a part thereof in accordanoe
<br />with t.he tel"IlIS and cond 1 t ions set forth in the EHIIGIRCY HOME
<br />REPAIR AGREEMENT to which r~rerence is made hereinabove.

<br />The lien herein granted shall run with the premises UQtl1
<br />3uch time as title to the property is transferred to another
<br />-wner, At thi~ time, the entire amount of the lien shall become
<br />due and payable.
