85� 004691 <br />WARRANTY DEED <br />KNOW ALL MEN BY THESE PRESENTS: <br />That Judith 1. Congrove, a single person, hereinafter referred to as <br />Grantor, for One Dollar ($1.00) and other good and valuable consideration as more <br />fully set forth below, does hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey and confirm unto <br />the Administrator of Veterans Affairs, his successors and assigns, hereinafter re- <br />ferred to as Grantee, the following described real property in Hall County, Nebraska <br />to -wit: <br />Lot One (1), in Block Eighty -nine (89), in WHEELER AND BENNETT'S <br />FOURTH ADDITION to the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska. <br />TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the above described premises, together with all <br />tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances thereto belonging unto the Grantee and <br />to his successors and assigns forever. <br />And the Grantor does hereby covenant with the Grantee and with the <br />Grantee's successors and assigns that Grantor is lawfully seised of said premises; <br />that they are free from encumbrance except easements, covenants and restrictions <br />of record and except real estate taxes becoming delinquent in 1984 and future <br />years; that the Grantor has good right and lawful authority to convey the same; <br />and that Grantor warrants and will defend the title to said premises against the <br />lawful claims of all persons whomsoever. <br />This deed is an absolute conveyance of title in effect as well as in form, <br />and is not intended as a mortgage, trust conveyance or security of any kind. The <br />i_ consideration therefor is the full release and discharge of all debts, notes, obliga- <br />tions, costs and charges heretofore subsisting on account of and by the terms of a <br />certain mortgage executed by Judith I. Congrove as mortgagor, and First Federal <br />Savings and Loan Association of Lincoln as mortgagee, in the sum of $37,500.00 <br />dated and recorded August 18, 1983 in the office of the Register of Deeds of Hal <br />County, Nebraska as Instrument No. 83- 004397, subsequently assigned to Creative <br />Financing, Inc., dated August 19, 1983 and recorded August 25, 1983 in the office <br />of the Register of Deeds of Hall County, Nebraska as Instrument No. 83- 004502, <br />and finally assigned to Homestead Savings, a Federal Savings and Loan Association <br />dated July 10, 1984 and recorded July 17, 1984 in the office of the Register of <br />Deeds of Hall County, Nebraska as Instrument No. 84- 003774; acceptance of this <br />deed being in full satisfaction of said 'ndebtedness as aforesaid, and terminating, <br />said mortgage. <br />Dated this day of gr 1985. <br />STATE OF NEBRASKA ) <br />G Judith 1.
