r <br />ORDINANCE NO. 7177 <br />85-004053 <br />a <br />An ordinance directing and authorizing the conveyance of <br />t <br />road right -of -way in the West Half of the Northeast Quarter of <br />the Southeast Quarter (W 1/2 NE 1/4 SE 1/4), Section 34, Town - <br />ship 12 North, Range 9 West of the 6th P.M., in Hall County, <br />Nebraska; providing for the giving of notice of such conveyance <br />and the terms thereof; providing for the right to file a <br />remonstrance against such conveyance; and providing the effective <br />date hereof. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND <br />ISLAND, NEBRASKA: <br />SECTION 1. The conveyance to HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA, of the <br />following described road right -of -way: <br />The easterly sixty (60) feet of the West Half of the North- <br />east Quarter of the Southeast Quarter (W 1/2 NE 1/4 SE 1/4) <br />of Section Thirty -four (34), Township Twelve (12) North, <br />Range Nine (9) West of the Sixth P.M., in Hall County, <br />Nebraska, containing 1.811 acres, more or less, as shown on <br />the plat attached hereto and incorporated herein by <br />reference, <br />is hereby authorized and directed. <br />SECTION 2. The consideration for such conveyance shall be <br />One Dollar ($1.00). Conveyance of the real estate above <br />described shall be by quitclaim deed, upon delivery of the con- <br />sideration, and the City of Grand Island will not furnish title <br />insurance. <br />SECTION 3. As provided by law, notice of such conveyance <br />and the terms thereof shall be published for three consecutive <br />weeks in the Grand Island Daily Independent, a newspaper pub- <br />lished for general circulation in the City of Grand Island. <br />Immediately after the passage and publication of this ordinance, <br />the city clerk is hereby directed and instructed to prepare and <br />publish such notice. <br />SECTION 4.
