<br />NOW ON THIS 301& day of July, 1984, this matter comes on
<br />for consideration upon the application of the Omaha National
<br />Bank, Omaha, Douglas County, Nebraska, for permission pursuant
<br />to Neb. Rev. Stat. Section 8 -_1506 (Supp. 1983) and L.B. 1026 of
<br />the Eighty- Eighth Legislature, Second Session (1984), to
<br />acquire certain assets and liabilities of the Commercial
<br />Savings Company, Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, an
<br />industrial loan and investment company, and to operate a branch
<br />in Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska; whereupon the State of
<br />Nebraska, Department of Banking and Finance, hereby makes the
<br />following findings of fact and conclusions of law with
<br />reference to said application.
<br />FINDINGS OF FACT
<br />That on the .3d`% day of July, 1984, the Department of
<br />Banking and Finance took possession of the Commercial Savings
<br />Company, Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, pursuant to Neb.
<br />Rev. Stat. Section 8 -1506 (Supp. 1983) following a Declaration
<br />of Emergency by the Governor, Secretary of State, and Director
<br />of Banking and Finance pursuant to that statute.
<br />That the Department of Banking and Finance received an
<br />application from the Omaha National Bank, Omaha, Douglas
<br />County, Nebraska, to acquire from the Department substantially
<br />all the assets and liabilities of the Commercial Savings
<br />Company, Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, and to nperatey a
<br />oranch at the location of the industrial loan aril investrn nt:
