In <br />87— 106656 <br />a <br />1. The City of Grand Island, Nebraska, by action of its <br />City Council on August 3, 1987, enacted Ordinance No. 7389 which <br />directed the conveyance of the real estate described below and <br />the manner and terms thereof. <br />2. Ordinance No. 7389 was published in the Grand Island <br />Daily Independent according to law, and notice of such sale and <br />the terms thereof was published in the Grand Island Daily <br />Independent, a newspaper published in and of general circulation <br />in Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, for three consecutive <br />weeks, on August 11, August 18, and August 25, 1987, all as <br />required by section 16 -202, R.R.S. 1943, as amended. <br />3. No remonstrance against such sale was filed with the <br />City Council of the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, <br />within thirty days of the passage and publication of Ordinance <br />No. 7389. <br />4. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 7389 provides that if no <br />remonstrance is filed against such conveyance, the Mayor and City <br />Clerk - Finance Director shall make, execute, and deliver to <br />RICHARD F. DeMAY a deed for said real estate, and the execution <br />of such deed is hereby authorized without further action on <br />behalf of the City Council. <br />5. NOW, THEREFORE, the CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, a <br />municipal corporation in Hall County, Nebraska, as Grantor, in <br />consideration of Fifteen Thousand Five Dollars ($15,005.00) <br />received from the Grantee, does hereby grant, bargain, sell, <br />convey, and confirm unto <br />RICHARD F.
