2. Ordinance No. 7398 was published in the Grand Island Daily Independent, a legal newspaper published in and of general circulation in such City on September 7, 1987, and immediately thereafter notice of such sale and the terms thereof were pub- lished in the Grand Island Daily Independent for three consecut- ive weeks, on September 8, September 15, and September 22, 1987, all as required by Section 16 -202, R.R.S. 1943. 3. No remonstrance against such sale was filed with the City Council of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, within thirty days of the passage and publication of such Ordinance No. 7398. 4. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 7398 provides that if no remonstrance be filed against such conveyance, the mayor and city clerk- finance director shall make, execute, and deliver to the Grantees a quitclaim deed for said real estate, and the execution of such quitclaim deed is hereby authorized without further action on behalf of the City Council. NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, a muni- cipal corporation in Hall County, Nebraska, as Grantor, in con- sideration of Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($350.00) does hereby quitclaim, grant, bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto WILLIAM H. BAASCH a /k /a BILL BAASCH, and LINDA MAY BAASCH, husband and wife, as joint tenants with right of survivorship, herein called the Grantees, the following described real property in Hall County, Nebraska: A tract of land in the northeasterly corner of Lots 9 and 10,.Block 9, Baker's Addition, more particularly described as follows: Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 10, Block 9, Baker's Addition; thence South along the East line of said Lot 10 a distance of ninety -five and sixty -nine hundredths (95.69) feet; thence in a northwesterly direction to a point on the North line of Lot 9 a distance of eighty -three and ninety -seven hundredths (83.97) feet West of the Northeast corner of said Lot 10; thence in an easterly direction along the North line of Lots 9 and 10 a distance of eighty -three and ninety -seven (83.97) feet, to the point of beginning.
