2. Ordinance No. 7398 was published in the Grand Island <br />Daily Independent, a legal newspaper published in and of general <br />circulation in such City on September 7, 1987, and immediately <br />thereafter notice of such sale and the terms thereof were pub- <br />lished in the Grand Island Daily Independent for three consecut- <br />ive weeks, on September 8, September 15, and September 22, 1987, <br />all as required by Section 16 -202, R.R.S. 1943. <br />3. No remonstrance against such sale was filed with the <br />City Council of the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, within thirty <br />days of the passage and publication of such Ordinance No. 7398. <br />4. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 7398 provides that if no <br />remonstrance be filed against such conveyance, the mayor and city <br />clerk- finance director shall make, execute, and deliver to the <br />Grantees a quitclaim deed for said real estate, and the execution <br />of such quitclaim deed is hereby authorized without further <br />action on behalf of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City of Grand Island, Nebraska, a muni- <br />cipal corporation in Hall County, Nebraska, as Grantor, in con- <br />sideration of Three Hundred Fifty Dollars ($350.00) does hereby <br />quitclaim, grant, bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto <br />WILLIAM H. BAASCH a /k /a BILL BAASCH, and LINDA MAY BAASCH, <br />husband and wife, as joint tenants with right of survivorship, <br />herein called the Grantees, the following described real property <br />in Hall County, Nebraska: <br />A tract of land in the northeasterly corner of Lots 9 <br />and 10,.Block 9, Baker's Addition, more particularly <br />described as follows: <br />Beginning at the Northeast corner of Lot 10, Block 9, <br />Baker's Addition; thence South along the East line of <br />said Lot 10 a distance of ninety -five and sixty -nine <br />hundredths (95.69) feet; thence in a northwesterly <br />direction to a point on the North line of Lot 9 a <br />distance of eighty -three and ninety -seven hundredths <br />(83.97) feet West of the Northeast corner of said Lot <br />10; thence in an easterly direction along the North <br />line of Lots 9 and 10 a distance of eighty -three and <br />ninety -seven (83.97) feet, to the point of beginning. <br />
