87-103454 <br />ORDINANCE NO. 7365 <br />An ordinance creating Street Improvement District No. 1134; <br />defining the boundaries of the district; providing for the <br />improvement of a street within the district by paving, curbing, <br />guttering, and all incidental work in connection therewith; and <br />providing the effective date of this ordinance. <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND <br />ISLAND, NEBRASKA: <br />SECTION 1. Street Improvement District No. 1134 in the City <br />of Grand Island, Nebraska, is hereby created. <br />SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as <br />follows: <br />ti �I' <br />m <br />m <br />Beginning at the Southeast corner of Lot 7, Block 4, <br />Pleasant Hill Subdivision, said point also being the <br />intersection of the West line of Cherry Street and the <br />North line of Eleventh Street; thence West along the <br />North line of Eleventh street for a distance of one <br />hundred thirty -eight and seventy -five hundredths <br />(138.75) feet; thence North on a line one hundred <br />thirty -eight and seventy -five hundredths (138.75) feet <br />West of and parallel to the West line of Cherry Street <br />for a distance of four hundred eighty -nine and eight <br />hundredths (489.08) feet to a point on the North line <br />of Twelfth Street; thence West on the North line of <br />Twelfth Street for a distance of eighteen and seventy -- <br />five hundredths (18.75) feet; thence North on a line <br />one hundred thirty -two (132) feet West of and parallel <br />to the West line of Cherry Street for a distance of six <br />hundred twenty (620) feet to a point on the South line <br />of 14th Street; thence East on the South line of 14th <br />Street; thence East on the South line of 14th Street <br />for a distance of one hundred thirty -two 9132) feet; <br />thence North on a prolongation of the West line of <br />Cherry Street for a distance of thirty (30) feet; <br />thence East on a line thirty (30) feet North of and <br />parallel to the South line of 14th Street for a <br />distance of sixty (60) feet; thence South on a <br />prolongation of the East line of Cherry Street for a <br />distance of thirty (30) feet; thence East on the South <br />line of 14th Street for a distance of two hundred <br />ninety -four (294) feet; thence South on a line two <br />hundred ninety -four (294) feet East of and parallel to <br />the East line of Cherry Street for a distance of six <br />hundred twenty (620) feet to the North line of Twelfth <br />Street; thence West on the North line of Twelfth Street <br />for a distance of one hundred forty -three and <br />five - tenths (143.5) feet; thence South on a line one <br />hundred twenty -five (125) feet East of and parallel to <br />the East line of Cherry Street for a distance of four <br />hundred eighty -nine and eight hundredths (489.08) feet <br />to the North line of Eleventh Street; thence West on <br />the North line of Eleventh Street for a distance of one <br />hundred twenty -five (125) feet; thence South on a pro- <br />longation of the East line of Cherry Street for a <br />distance of sixty (60) feet; thence West on a line <br />
