'J <br />DEED <br />1. The,City of Grand Island, Nebraska, by action of its <br />City Countil on March 9, 1987 enacted Ordinance No. 7331 which <br />directed the conveyance of the real estate described below and <br />the manner and terms thereof. <br />2. Ordinance No. 7331 was published in the Grand Island <br />Daily Independent according to law, and notice of such sale and <br />the terms thereof was published in the Grand Island Daily <br />Independent, a newspaper published in and of general circulation <br />in Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska for three consecutive <br />weeks on March 13, March 20, and March 27, 1987 all as required <br />by Section 16 -202, R.R.S. 1943 as amended. <br />3. No remonstrance against such sale was filed with the <br />City Council of the City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska <br />within thirty days of the passage and publication of Ordinance <br />No. 7331. <br />4. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 7331 provides that if no <br />remonstrance is filed against such conveyance, the Mayor and City <br />Clerk- Finance Director shall make, execute, and deliver to HOME <br />FEDERAL SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION OF GRAND ISLAND, a <br />corporation, a Deed for said real estate, and the execution of <br />such deed is hereby authorized without further action on behalf <br />of the City Council. <br />5. NOW, THEREFORE, the CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, a <br />municipal corporation in Hall County, Nebraska, as Grantor, in <br />consideration of Sixty Two Thousand One Hundred Dollars <br />($62,100.00) received from the Grantee, does hereby grant, <br />bargain, sell, conveyaand confirm unto <br />HOME FEDERAL SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION OF GRAND ISLAND, <br />a corporation, the following described real estate: <br />A tract of land comprising part of Lots Two <br />(2), Three (3), Four (4), Five (5), Six (6) <br />and Seven (7), together with the vacated <br />alley lying between said lots, all in Block <br />Eight -Nine (89), Original Town of Grand <br />Island, Nebraska, more particularly described <br />as follows: Beginning at the southwesterly <br />corner of said Lot Five (5); thence north- <br />westerly along the westerly line of said <br />Block Eighty -Nine (89), a distance of One <br />Hundred Fifty -One and Eighteen Hundredths <br />(151.18) feet; thence deflecting right 89 <br />degrees 38139" and running northeasterly, a <br />distance of One Hundred Ninety and Sixty -Four <br />Hundredths (190.64) feet to the westerly line <br />of Locust Street; thence southerly along the <br />R <br />IN <br />J <br />Ok <br />
