LOAN 0018234 MORTGAGE RIDER FHA Case No. 321 - 1146763 -703 87-- 100472 This MORTGAGE RIDER made this 14TH day of JANUARY 1987 , modifies and amends that certain Mortgage, HUD 92143M (9 -79), of even date herewith, between: MITCHELL R. THURSTON AND DONELLE J. SERA, AS JOINT TENANTS AND NOT AS TENANTS IN COMMON , as Mortgagor, and ASSOCIATES NATIONAL MORTGAGE CORPORATION , as Mortgagee, as follows: 1. Paragraph 1 is amended to read: "That he will pay the principal of and interest on the indebtedness evidenced by the note secured hereby, at the times and in the manner therein provided; except that privilege is reserved to pay the debt, in whole or in part, on any installment due date." 2. Paragraph 2(a), commencing with "(a) Amount sufficient..." and concluding with "...taking into account delinquencies or prepayments;" is deleted in its entirety. 3. Paragraph 2(c) is amended to delete the subparagraph denoted as "(I) ". 4. The following provision of Paragraph 3, commencing on line 11 and concluding on line 12 of said paragraph, is hereby deleted: "all payments made under the provisions of (a) of paragraph 2 hereof; which the Mortgagee has not become obligated to pay to the Secretary of Housing and Urban Development, and ". 5. The following provision of Paragraph 3, commencing on line 18, and concluding on line 19, is deleted: "and shall properly adjust any payments which shall have been made under (a) of paragraph 2 ". and a period is added following the word "note" on line 18 of Paragraph 3. 6. The following sentence is added at the end of Paragraph 12: "This option may not be exercised by the Mortgagee when the ineligibility for insurance under the National Housing Act is due to the Mortgagee's failure to remit the mortgage insurance premium to the Department of Housing and Urban Development." The identity of all sections and subsections affected by the changes in this Rider should be re- identified as necessary in order to account for the deletions and changes. Except as modified herein, the Mortgage referenced above is and shall remain in full force and effect. IN WITNESS WHEREOF, Mortgagor has set his hand and seal the day and year first aforesaid.
