<br />THAT Burke Fiuancial corpor~ti~ncorporation (hereinafter

<br />referred to as "Mortgagor"), whose mailing address is. c/o
<br />Burke Energy Corporation, 12th and Main Streets, Hutchison,
<br />Kansas 67501, for and in consideration of the sum of ~lO.OO,
<br />the debt hereinafter mentioned and other good and valuable
<br />consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which are hereby
<br />acknowledged and confessed, has GRANTED, CONVEYED, MORTGAGED
<br />and WARRANTED, and does by these presents GRANT, .cONVEY, MORT-
<br />GAGE and WARRANT unto MERCANTILE NATIONAL BANK AT DALLAS, a
<br />national banking association (hereinafter referred to as
<br />"Mortgagee"). whose mailing address is P. O. Box 225415, Dallas,
<br />Texas 75265, with power of sale, the following described prop-
<br />erties and interests situated in the State of Nebraska, to-wit:
<br />
<br />All of Mortgagor's right, title and interest in
<br />and to that certain tract of real property set forth,
<br />identified and described in Exhibit "A" attached
<br />hereto and made a part hereof for all purposes as
<br />if copied herein in full;
<br />
<br />Together with all improvements thereon and hereafter placed
<br />thereon, and all equipment, apparatus, fixtures, inventory
<br />and all other property, now or hereafter belonging to Mortgagor
<br />and now or hereafter installed, used or situated on the above-
<br />described property or the improvements thereon, including,
<br />but not limited to, all heating, lighting, refrigeration,
<br />plumbing, ventilating, incinerator, water heating, cooking,
<br />dishwashing, radio, communication, electrical, and air con-
<br />ditioning equipment, together with all appliances, genera-
<br />tors, engines and machinery, elevators, pumps, motors, com-
<br />pressors, boilers, condensing units, disposals, range hoods,
<br />furniture, furnishings, sprinklers, wiring, pipe, doors,
<br />windows, window screens, blinds, shades, draperies, awnings,
<br />shelving, mantels, cabinets, paneling, wall coverings and
<br />floor coverings, and such other goods and chattels and per-
<br />sonal property as are ever used or furnished in operating a
<br />building or buildings or in conducting any activity therein,
<br />upon the above-described property, and all renewals, replace-
<br />ments and substitutions thereof and additions and accessions
<br />thereto, whether or not the same are or shall be attached to
<br />the real property in any manner, together with all building
<br />materials and equipment now or hereafter delivered to such
<br />real property and intended to be installed thereon, it being
<br />Mortgagor's intention that, to the extent permitted by law,
<br />all such property is or will be fixtures upon, and be a part
<br />of, the real property described above; and together with all
<br />other interest of every kind and character in and to the real
<br />and personal property described above which Mortgagor now
<br />owns or at any time hereafter acquires.

<br />All property described above (whether one or more tracts
<br />and whether real or personal property or only realty or only
<br />personalty), together with any additional interests therein
<br />no~' owned or hereafter acquired by Mortgagor, is referred to
<br />below as the "Mortgaged Property".
<br />
<br />TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the Mortgaged Property, and every
<br />part thereof, including every part thereof and intere.st
<br />therein. intended, agreed or covenanted to ~e conveyed hereby
<br />but not described, or inadequately described, in Exhibit "A",
<br />together with all rights, privileges and appurtenances now,
