THAYER, Husband and Wife, herein called <br /> <br />the Grantors, in consideration of <br /> <br />One Dollar (SI.OOI <br /> <br />, receipt of which <br /> <br /> <br />is herehy acknowledged, hereby grants and conveys unto the <br /> <br />CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, <br /> <br />a municipal corporation in Hall County, Nebraska, herein called the Grantee, a <br /> <br />permanent and perpetual easement and right-of-way to survey, construct, <br /> <br />inspect, maintain, repair, replace, extend, remove, and operate thereon, <br /> <br />underground electrical utility lines, cables, terminals, transformers, surface <br /> <br />markers, and other appurtenances connected therewith, in, upon, above, along, <br /> <br />across, underneath, and through a sixteen (16.0) foot wide easement located in <br /> <br />a tract of laod in part of the southeast Quarter of the Southeast Quarter <br /> <br />(SEt,SEt) of Section Twenty Eight (28), Township Eleven (11) North, Range Nine <br /> <br />(9) West, of the 6th P,M., Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska; the centerline <br />of the said sixteen (16.0) foot wide easement being more particularly <br /> <br />described as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the West line of Woodland First <br />Subdivision, said point being five and thirty-one hundredths <br />(5.31) feet North of the Southwest corner of Lot Four (4) of <br />said Woodland First Subdivision; thence Westerly, parallel <br />to the North line of the tract of land described in Document <br />.88-104657, recorded in the Hall County Register Of Deeds <br />office, Grand Island, Nebraska, a distance of three hundred <br />eight (308.0) feet; thence deflecting left 89031'00" and <br />running in a Southerly direction, a distance of two hundred <br />forty five (245.0) feet. <br /> <br />The above described easement containing 0.203 acre, more or <br />less, as shown on the plat dated 11/1/88, marked Exhibit <br />"A", attached hereto, and incorporated herein by reference, <br /> <br />together with the following rights: <br /> <br />Unrestricted ingress and egress to the above described easement for the <br /> <br />installation, maintenance, operation, and removal of such underground <br /> <br />electrical utility lines and appurtenances. <br /> <br />Such rights of ingress and ~gress shall idelude all rights necessary for <br /> <br /> <br />the full and complete use, occupation, and enjoyment of the easement herein <br /> <br />granted including, but not limited to, the right to remove, clear, and keep <br /> <br />clear trees, bushes, hedges, undergrowth, and other obstructions interfering <br /> <br />with the surveying, construction, inspection, maintenance, repair, <br /> <br />replacement, extension, removal, or operation of such underground electrical <br /> <br />utility Jines and appurtenances.
