<br />r <br /> <br />SEP. :z B 1888 <br /> <br />ORDINANCE NO. 7495 <br /> <br />88- 105238 <br /> <br />An ordinance creating Water Main District No. 385 in the City <br />of Grand Island, Nebraska; defining the boundaries of the district, <br />providing for the laying of a water main in said district, <br />providing for plans and specifications and securing bids; providing <br />for the assessment of special taxes for constructing such water <br />main; and providing the effective date hereof. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED l3Y THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND <br /> <br /> <br />ISLAND, NEBRASKA: <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Water Main District No. 385 in the City of Grand <br /> <br />Island, Nebraska, is hereby created for the laying of a six inch <br /> <br />water main with its appurtenances in Sweetwood Drive from Greenwood <br /> <br />Drive to Driftwood Drive. <br /> <br />SECTION 2. The boundaries 0'- "Juch water main district shall <br /> <br />be as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at a point on the southerly right-of-way line <br />of Driftwood Driver also being the Northwest corner of <br />Lot 9r Westwood Park Subdivision; thence southerly along <br />the westerly line of Westwood Park Subdivision a distance <br />of five hundred seventy (570.0) feet to the Southwest <br />corner of Lot 11, Westwood Park Subdivision; thence <br />westerly along the northerly line of Lot 12, Westwood <br />Park Subdivision, a distance of thirty-five (35.0) feet <br />to the Northwest corner of said Lot 12; thence southerly <br />along the westerly line of said Lot 12 a distance of one <br />hundred thirty (130.0) feet to the Southwest corner of <br />said Lot 121 thence westerly along the northerly line of <br />Elmwood Drive a distance of fifteen (15.0) feet to the <br />Northwest corner of Westwood Park Subdivision; thence <br />southerly along a westerly line of Westwood Park Sub- <br />division a distance of six hundred sixty (660.0) feet to <br />the Southwest corner of Westwood Park Subdivision; thence <br />easterly along a southerly line of Westwood Park <br />Subdivision a distance of two hundred thirty (230.0) feet <br />to the southeast corner of Sweetwood Drive; thence <br />northerly along the easterly line of Sweetwood Drive a <br />distance of three hundred nineteen and six-tenths (319.61 <br />feet to the Southwest corner of Lot 30, Westwood Park <br />Subdivision 1 thence easterly along the southerly line of <br />said Lot 30 a distance of one hundred seventy-four <br />(174.0) feet to the Southeast corner of said Lot 30; <br />thence northerly along an easterly line of Westwood Park <br />Subdivision and its extension a distance of one thousand <br />forty (1,040.0) feet to the Northeast corner of Lot 38, <br />Westwood Park Subdivision, also being a point on the <br />southerly right-of-way line of Driftwood Drive; thence <br />westerly along the southerly right-of-way line of <br />Driftwood Drive a distance of 354.0 feet to the point of <br />beginning, all as shown on the plat marked Exhibit "A" <br />attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. <br /> <br />SECTION 3.
