<br />ORDINANCE NO. 7472 <br /> <br />88-104549 <br /> <br />An ordinance creating Street Improvement District No. 1159; <br /> <br />defining the boundaries of the district; providing for the <br /> <br />improvement of a street within the district by paving and other <br /> <br />incidental work in connection therewith; and providing the <br /> <br />effective date of this ordinance. <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE MAYOR AND COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF GRAND <br /> <br />ISLAND, NEBRASKA: <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 1. Street Improvement District No. 1159 in the City <br /> <br /> <br />of Grand Island, Nebraska, is hereby created. <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 2. The boundaries of the district shall be as <br /> <br />follows: <br /> <br />Beginning at the Northwest corner of Lot 11, Block 5, <br />of Jenkinson subdiviSion, said point also being the <br />Northwest corner of Jenkinson Subdivision, thence East <br />on the North line of Jenkinson Subdivision for a <br />distance of five hundred thirty-siX and seventy-four <br />hundredths (536.741 feet to the Northeast corner of Lot <br />3, Block 4, of said Jenkinson SUbdivision, thence South <br />on the East line of Lot 3, Block 4, and the East line <br />of Lots 6 and 3, Block 3, Jenkinson Subdivision, for a <br />distance of seven hundred sixty and seventy-eight <br />hundredths (760.7B) feet to the Southeast corner of Lot <br />3, Block 3, Jenkinson Subdivision, thence East on the <br />North line of Dack Avenue for a distance of three <br />hundred seven (307) feet to the East line of Jan <br />Street, thence South on the East line of Jan Street for <br />4 distance of two hundred fifty-eight and four-tenths <br />(25B.41 feet to a point eight (B) feet North of the <br />Northwest corner of Lot 4, Block 1, Jenkinson <br />Subdivision; thence East on a line eight (B) feet North <br />of and parallel to the North line of Lots 4 and 3, <br />Block 1, Jenkinson Subdivision for a distance of five <br />hundred and eight-tenths (500.B) feet to a point on the <br />East line of North Road; thence South on the East line <br />of North Road for a distance of two hundred sixty-five <br />and six-tenths (265.6) feet to the North line of <br />Capital Avenue; thence West on the North line of <br />Capital Avenue to the West line of North Road; thence <br />North on the West line of North Road for a distance of <br />two hundr~d forty-nine and six-tenths (249.6) feet to a <br />point eight (B) feet South of the Northeast corner of <br />Lot 3, Block 1, Jenkinson Subdivision, thence West on a <br />line eight (B) feet South of and parallel to the North <br />line of Lots 3 and 4, Block 1, Jenkinson Subdivision <br />for a distance of four hundred ninety-four and eight- <br />tenths (494.B) feet to a point on the West line of Jan <br />Street; thence North on the West line of Jan Street for <br />a distance of two hundred fourteen and four-tenths <br />(214.4) feet to the South line of Dack Avenue; thence <br />West on the South line of Dack Avenue for a distance of <br />two hundred forty-seven (247) feet to the Northeast <br />corner of Lot 6, Block 2, Jenkinson Subdivision; thence <br />South on the East line of Lots 6 and 3, Block 2, <br />Jenkinson Subdivision, and a prolongation thereof for a <br />distance of four hundred ninety-seven (497) feet; <br />thence West on a line thirty three (33) feet South of <br />and parallel to the North line of Capital Avenue for a <br />distance of five hundred thirty-throe and eighty-three <br />hundredths (533.B3) feet; thence North on the West line <br />
