<br />CLARENCE RIEF and MARTItA J. RIEF, husband and wife, herein called
<br />
<br />Grantors, in consideration of
<br />
<br />One Dollar ($1.00) ,receipt of which is
<br />
<br />hereby acknowledged, hereby grants and conveys unto the
<br />
<br />CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA,
<br />
<br />a municipal corporation in Hall County, Nebraska, herein called Grantee, a
<br />
<br />permanent and perpetual easement and right-of-way to survey, construct,
<br />
<br />inspect, maintain, repair, replace, extend, remove, and operate thereon,
<br />
<br />overhead electrical utility lines, poles, anchors, terminals, transformers,
<br />
<br />cables, conductors, surface markers, and other appurtenances connected
<br />
<br />therewith, in, upon, above, along, across, over, and through a sixteen (16.0)
<br />
<br />foot wide easement tract of land located in part of the Northeast Quarter (NE
<br />
<br />1/4), Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4), Section Three (3), Township Ten (10) North,
<br />
<br />Range Nine (9) West, of the 6th P.M., Hall County, Nebraska, the
<br />
<br />north line of the said 16 foot wide easement being more particularly described
<br />
<br />as follows:
<br />
<br />Beginning on the west right-of-way line of Stuhr Road, being
<br />thirty-three (33.0) feet west and twenty seven and five tenths (27.5)
<br />feet south of the Northeast corner of said Southeast Quarter (SE 1/4);
<br />thence westerly seven (7) feet to the Southeast corner of Deerfield
<br />Subdivision; thence continuing westerly along the southerly line of
<br />said Deerfield Subdivision a distance of five hundred nineteen and
<br />fifty eight hundredths (519.58) feet to the Southwest corner of said
<br />Deerfield Subdivision, the above said easement tract containing nine-
<br />teen hundredths (0.19) acres, more or less, as shown on the plat
<br />dated December 15, 1987, marked "Exhibit A," attached hereto and
<br />incorporated herein by reference,

<br />together with the following rights:
<br />
<br />Unrestricted ingress and egress to the above described easement tract for
<br />
<br />the installation, maintenance, operation, and removal of such overhead
<br />
<br />electrical utility lines and appurtenances.
<br />
<br />Such rights of ingress and egress shall include all rights necessary for
<br />
<br />the full and complete use, occupation, and enjo)~ent of the easement herein
<br />
<br />granted, including but not limited to the right to place electrical line
<br />
<br />anchors, or anchors with guy wires attached thereto, on Grantors' property; to
<br />
<br />remove, clear, and keep clear trees, bushes, hedges, undergrowth, and other
<br />
<br />obstructions interfering with the surveying, construction, inspection,
<br />
<br />maintenance, repair, replacement, extension, removal, or operation of such
<br />
<br />l
<br />
<br />overhead electrical utility lines and appurtenances. No structures, buildings,
<br />
<br />fences, or other obstructions of any kind whatsoever, shall be allowed in,
<br />
<br />upon, above, along, across, over; or through the easement herein granted.
