This EXTENSION AGREEMENT made and executed this_($ day SEPTEMBER, 2003, by <br />and between ROME FEDERAL SAVINGS AND LOAN ASSOCIATION OF GRAND ISLAND, <br />hereinafter referred to as "Lender ", and <br />HAROLD C MEDLEN AND JACQUELINE B MEDLEN, HUSBAND AND WIFE <br />hereinafter referred to as "Borrower ". <br />WITNESSETH: <br />WHEREAS, borrower has previously executed and delivered unto Lender a certain Note <br />secured by a Deed of Trust/Mortgage upon that real estate described as: <br />THE WESTERLY TEN (10) FEET OF THE EASTERLY (40.0) FEET OF LOT EIGHTEEN (18), <br />BLOCK THREE (3), BLAINE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, HALL COUNTY, <br />NEBRASKA; AND THE WEST TEN FEET OF LOT EIGHTEEN (18), AND ALL OF LOT <br />NINETEEN (19), IN BLOCK THREE, BLAINE ADDITION TO THE CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, <br />HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA. <br />which Deed of Trust/Mortgage was dated OCTOBER 6, 1999, and filed for record on OCTOBER <br />12, 1999 in the office of the HALL COUNTY REGISTER OF DEED'S OFFICE, HALL COUNTY, <br />NEBRASKA as DOCUMENT # 0099109968; <br />WHEREAS, such Deed of Trust/Mortgage had a stated maturity date of NOVEMBER 1, 2014. <br />WHEREAS, Lender and Borrower have mutually agreed to renew and extend the <br />indebtedness secured by such Deed of Trust/Mortgage, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of such renewal and extension, the parties hereto give <br />notice in accord with NEB. REV. STAT. SS 76 -239 of the continued effectiveness of the Deed of <br />Trust/Mortgage above described in the following respects: <br />1. MATURITY DATE. The stated maturity of the above - described Deed of Trust/Mortgage <br />is hereby AMENDED TO OCTOBER 1, 2018. <br />2. CONTINUED EFFECTIVENESS.
