The CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, a municipal corporation, by <br />action of its City Council on December 21, 2004, enacted Ordinance No. 8945, which directed <br />the conveyance of the real estate described below and the manner and terms thereof. <br />2. Ordinance No. 8945 was published in the Grand Island Independent according to <br />law on December 27, 2004, and notice of such sale and the terms thereof were published in the <br />Grand Island Independent for three successive weeks on December 28, 2004, January 3, 2005 <br />and January 10, 2005, all as required by § 16 -202, R.R.S. 1943. <br />3. No remonstrance against such sale was filed with the City Council of the City of <br />Grand Island, Nebraska, within thirty days of the passage and publication of Ordinance No. <br />8945. <br />4. Section 5 of Ordinance No. 8945 provides that if no remonstrance be filed against <br />such conveyance, the Mayor and City Clerk shall make, execute and deliver to the Grantee, a <br />Quit Claim Deed for said real estate, and the execution of such deed is hereby authorized without <br />further action on behalf of the City Council. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA., a municipal <br />corporation, in Hall County, Nebraska, as Grantor, in consideration of Twenty Five Dollars <br />($25.00) received from Grantee, does hereby grant, bargain, sell, convey, and confirm unto <br />GI VENTURE, L.P., <br />a limited partnership, herein called the Grantee, the following described real property in Hall <br />County, Nebraska: <br />A part of Sixteenth Street vacated by Ordinance No. 4876, such vacated street <br />being eighty (80.0) feet in width, lying between Block 80 and Block 93 in <br />.'? 4' � '�f 4, <br />
