LICENSE AGREEMENT ' r <br />This License Agreement is made by and between the CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, <br />NEBRASKA, a Municipal Corporation, herein referred to as the "Licensor" and THE <br />EQUITABLE BUILDING AND LOAN ASSOCIATION, a corporation, hereinafter referred to <br />as the "Licensee." <br />1. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE. The purpose of this License Agreement is to set <br />forth the terms and conditions under which the Licensee may construct, maintain, repair, and <br />utilize the following described improvements which will infringe upon right -of -way owned by <br />the Licensor: <br />Installation of a canopy over the entrance to the building at 113 -115 North Locust <br />Street. Such canopy shall be at least three (3.0) feet from the curb line, and shall <br />be a minimum of eight (8.0) feet above the sidewalk, as shown on the attached <br />drawing. <br />2. DESCRIPTION OF LICENSEE'S REAL ESTATE. The Licensee owns the <br />following described real estate adjacent to the Licensor's right -of -way to which this License <br />Agreement shall apply: <br />The south forty -four (44.0) feet of Lot Three (3) and the south forty four (44.0) <br />feet of Lot Four (4), Block Seventy Nine (79), Original Town now the City of <br />Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska. <br />3. LICENSEE'S DUTIES AND RISKS. It is understood and agreed that the <br />Licensee may construct, maintain, repair and utilize the above described improvements at the <br />Licensee's sole risk.
