200210157 <br />and proceedings of all kinds and for all periods between the years 1970 and <br />2050 as my Agent shall deem advisable. <br />(16) To make financial arrangements for my entrance to and care at any hospital, <br />nursing home, health center, convalescent home, retirement home, hospice <br />or similar institution and to pay all bills or make other financial arrangements <br />for the payment of such bills as my Agent shall deem advisable. <br />ARTICLE II <br />ADMINISTRATIVE PROVISIONS <br />(1) My agent is further authorized to take any other action necessary to do what <br />I authorize in this instrument, including (but not limited to) granting any <br />waiver or release from liability that may be required. In addition, my agent <br />is authorized to pursue any legal action in my name, and at the expense of my <br />estate, to force compliance with my wishes as determined by my agent, or to <br />seek actual or punitive damages for the failure to comply. <br />(2) My agent shall not be entitled to compensation for services performed under <br />this Power of Attorney, but he or she shall be entitled to reimbursement for <br />all reasonable expenses incurred as a result of carrying out any provisions of <br />this Power of Attorney. <br />(3) To the extent that I am permitted by law to do so, I herewith nominate, <br />constitute and appoint my agent to serve as my guardian, conservator or in <br />any similar representative capacity, and such service shall be without bond. <br />(4) If any part of any provision of this instrument shall be invalid or <br />unenforceable under applicable law, such part shall be ineffective to the <br />extent of such invalidity only, without, in any way, affecting the remaining <br />parts of such provision or the remaining provisions of this instrument. <br />(5) I revoke all prior Financial Durable Powers of Attorney that I may have <br />executed, and I retain the right to revoke or amend this instrument and to <br />substitute other agents for my agent listed herein as I deem necessary. <br />(6) This Power of Attorney is intended to be valid in any jurisdiction in which <br />it is presented. <br />ARTICLE III <br />SCOPE OF POWERS <br />-3- <br />
