<br />TRUSTEE'S DEED
<br />This instrument, made this V day of May, 2002 between Eric H. Lindquist, a member of
<br />the Nebraska State Bar Association, Successor Trustee, hereinafter called "Grantor", pursuant to a
<br />power of sale contained in that certain Deed of Trust recorded on November 14, 1991 as Instrument
<br />No, 91- 107691 of the Mortgage Records in the office of the Register of Deeds of Hall County,
<br />Nebraska, and the Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, hereinafter
<br />called "Grantee ":
<br />WHEREAS, on February 12, 2002, Eric H, Lindquist, as Successor Trustee, executed a
<br />Notice of Default pursuant to which notice was given to Benjamin Vega and Maria A. Vega,
<br />husband and wife, TnLstors, under that certain Deed of Trust recorded November 14, 1991 as
<br />Instrument No. 91- 107691 of the Mortgage Records in the office of the Register of Deeds of Hall
<br />County, Nebraska, covering that certain premises described as:
<br />LOT THREE (3), IN BLOCK ONE (1), IN GILBERT'S ADDITION TO THE
<br />CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, HALL COUNTY, NEBRASKA,
<br />that a breach of an obligation for which the trust property was conveyed had occurred, and setting
<br />forth the nature of such breach and of his election to sell or cause to be sold such property to satisfy
<br />the obligation. Said Notice of Default was filed for record in the Office of the Register of Deeds of
<br />Hall County, Nebraska on February 14, 2002 as hsstrument No. 200201774 of the Miscellaneous
<br />Records of said County.
<br />A copy of such Notice of Default was thereafter mailed to all parties entitled to notice
<br />pursuant to said Deed of Trust and in compliance with Section 76 -1008 R.R.S. Nebraska.
<br />Subsequent thereto, beginning on March 21, 2002, Grantor caused to be published in The
<br />Grand Island Independent, a newspaper having a general circulation in Hall County, Nebraska, a
<br />Notice of Trustee's Sale setting forth a description of the property to be sold and stating that the
<br />described property would be sold at public auction to the highest bidder for cash or certified or
<br />cashier's check, at the lower level lobby of the Hall County Courthouse, l st & Locust Street, Grand
<br />Island, Hall County, Nebraska, at 10:00 a.m. on May 1, 2002. Publication of such notice was made
<br />for five consecutive weeks on March 21, 2002, March 28, 2002, April 4, 2002, April 11, 2002 and
<br />April 18, 2002, the last publication being at least ten (10) days but not more than thirty (30) days
<br />prior to the date of sale.
<br />A copy of such notice of the time and place of sale was thereafter mailed to all parties
<br />entitled to notice pursuant to said Deed of Trust and in compliance with Section 76 -1008
<br />R.R.S, Nebraska
<br />Pursuant to said Notice of Trustee's Sale, John B. McDermott, attorney for Eric H.
<br />Lindquist, Successor Trustee, did at the time and place mentioned in said Notice of Trustee's Sale,
<br />offer said property for sale at public auction, and did sell the same to MidFirst Bank for the sum of
<br />$37,684.16, it being the highest bidder therefor. MidFirst Bank has assigned all of its right, title,
<br />and interest in and to such bid to Grantee.
