Ordinance No. 8790 was published in the Grand Island Independent <br />according to law on January 20, 2003, and notice of such sale and file terms thereof was <br />published in the Grand Island Independent, a newspaper published in and of general circulation <br />in Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, for three consecutive weeks, on January 21, January 28, <br />and February 4, 2003, all as required by Section 16-202, R.R.S. 1943, as amended. <br />3. No remonstrance against such sale was tiled with the City Council of the <br />City of Grand Island, Hall County, Nebraska, within thirty days of the passage and publication of <br />Ordinance No. 8790. <br />4. Ordinance No. 8790 provides that if no remonstrance is filed against such <br />conveyance, the Mayor and City Clerk shall make, execute, and deliver to Randall J. Kathman <br />and Jean M. Kathman, husband and wife, a warranty deed for said real estate, and the execution <br />of such deed is hereby authorized without further actin on behalf of the City Council. <br />5. NOW, TIIEREFORE, the CITY OF GRAND ISLAND, NEBRASKA, a <br />municipal corporation in Hall County, Nebraska, as Grantor, in consideration for such <br />conveyance of Five Thousand Five Hundred Fourteen Dollars ($5,514.25) per acre, received <br />from file Grantee, and pursuant to the terms and conditions of the Agreement for Warranty Decd, <br />hereby grants, bargains, sells, conveys, and confirms unto <br />RANDALL J. KATHMAN and JEAN M. KATHMAN, <br />Husband and wife, the following described real estate: <br />
